People like @dollarvigilante made $15000 on one post and now his last one had about $150. Or @stellabelle, who already threatens to walk away and might join another platform.

I for one upvoted not that my vote really counts, you are indeed looking for whales (not even dolphins will make a difference). But I've always agreed with your sentiment and there's a lack of actual discussion and acknowledging from everyone of the grotesque flaws in Steemit, they become like zombies in fear of downvotes and criticism. After I started to question the system the whales abandoned me (although I've gained a lot of minnows and even some tunas and baby dolphins friends!). They are cool like that with little jellyfishes like me ;)
Anyway Steemit is like a casino and to me it doesn't deserve the respect to actually put time and effort into a post, there's 90% chance it won't be rewarded and be forgotten in 60 minutes, there are so many examples. Many think they are all that and that they deserved but they basically got lucky or have a strong following outside this. Then there's still the 1-2% that are actually great content creators (and if you take out Steemit oriented devs I can only name 5-10...). Whales don't seem to miss any idiot with a following but they sure miss great content daily.
I do agree with some other comments though, you are just too upfront and it could get you in trouble (a downvote from a whale will kill your rep instantly).

You are right. I don't care if they downvote. The system is rigged from front to end. Nobody can be certain who controls what account. It's a giant redistribution mechanism. I'm loving it when people here call themselves libertarians or anarchists. They are rather con man. Someone's leaving without money and it ain't the whales.
Remember this is in Beta guys. If you don't like it try to change it in a positive way.
The flaws are not "technical" flaws or bugs, there are deeply ingrained into the core and overall concept of Steem, and unless they implement some radical changes user retention and support price for Steem will continue to decline.
Maybe you shall rethink what you publish, this will not help you. Our very first article made $40 in few hours. Not as large as people you mentioned, but it works. If you do not like it here, why you are sitting here? Hating hot letters will not help you at all to get some revenues, rather write something what matters and I am sure you will get votes up. A vote means also curation revenue I guess, so there is no reason to not vote good content. If you get no votes, it is not a problem of Steem.
This is not quick rich scheme, you have to undergo a lot of learning before you can start to receive rewards. When that happen, your achievements will start to surface. Look at my blog, got only few rewards but even so I am not stopping because I'm having fun. I heard negative rumors like what you are posting but I believe on the founder of steemit. They didn't just founded this community out of something, they have precise and specific plans for the community, I just don't know what it is but I believe in them.
Don't tell me how great your Gods are. I'm not buying it.

Why I should do it when you just hunt votes and your only reply relates to getting vote for your post? Nope. You can try hubpages.com or something else where you get revenues from Ads if you think it will be easier. Updating a post being still negative is funny enough to see how frustrated are you about not being rich from being on Steem. But Steem is not a magic quick rich machine. Begging for cents will definitely solve your problem, lol.

Turn this post at least little bit into something creative for the community, endorse @robinhoodwhale and I will give you the vote because you will do something for it. Maybe the people who shared you this platform had the wrong impression about the communiyy. This is not a place for earning quick money, this is a place for earning rewards and rewards are not just given right away after making a single post. Yes, other people are receiving good rewards since their 1st post but we are not them. Good for those who are receiving good rewards. I tell you when I started here I also have that kind of feeling, feeling envy of other author's reward and that feeling encouraged me to be more productive.
You know, it is not even about first article. We published here to share the ideas, not to make money.
Is it a motto of Steemit - money making machine? No. As you said, these are rewards.
Putting all the eggs into one basket is a huge risk - everywhere.
Frustration is easy to come & hard to prevent, if one does not diversify the income needed for life in abundance.

If you are a good blogger, I am sure you will be able to make your living money on Fiverr.com, being a ghostwriter. The best part of it is that you do not have to spend time on bids such as on Freelancer - people just seek your service and placing orders directly -> less marketing, more revenues.

It is tough nut sometimes to make money online, especially for food which is kind of vital importance. So I decided to get a garden and grow the food myself in the meantime offering services on Fiverr.
If there wasn't a fear of these types content you wouldn't see the rapid response team of self elected gurus showing up to trash your theory or discussion. Of all the new content to read, they pick this. Absurd and intentional. Why are they even reading this page.
