Sun Thursday and Communities - 10 months of the Challenge
Author: @uwelang
Curator: @nicnas
-=- The firs to be curated for today is an article from the "Simple German Guy." @uwelang, with a reputation of 70, has been around since August 2016. He is one of the veterans of this platform and this post goes back and highlights one aspect he introduced and that is still in use today.
While he seems to always be at some sort of beer festival he makes a lot of time to show some of his amazing art. Today we look at the tag and contest of the #SunThursday Challenge. Check him out and see the growth he has made on this platform. You can do it too. -=-
PharmaCon #4: Preventing The Post Antibiotic Era
Author: @cookiekush
Curator: @nicnas
-=- This this post by @cookiekush he describes the developments in antibiotics. We needed a antibiotic that would destroy the pathogens and without the resistance that has been seen in test that he cites. He explains Bacteriophages and how they are like smart cells that can change and adapt to kill bacteria that has resistances to antibiotics.
I love the science behind this article and how @cookiekush really breaks down the developments and studies. This is a good read. -=-
Why Many People Fail on Steemit and other social media platforms (2)
Author: @charles1
Curator: @nicnas
-=- If someone fails using the Steem Blockcahin then I think it is solely on them. It takes a lot of time to build up your reputation, not only just the number but the actual rep you have with the community. Here @charles1 gives some reasons why people just do not do well.
While a lot of the top do hog the rewards up, there is still a lot of hope for the new members of Steem. If one considers what @charles1 offers as advice and avoids these habits then there is a chance for success yet. It takes a lot of hard work and energy. -=-
Random Fractals - hexagonal mandalas
Author: @kalemandra
Curator: @nicnas
-=- @kalemandra in this post uses a Java based freeware program to design some fractals. I have a thing for fractals. I love the patterns and colors. Especially these ones. This are really fun and I am now considering trying out this software. She does warn that you do need a high powered computer to render them. -=-
Creating New Colours - Nightmare or Heaven?
Author: @theexplorer
Curator: @nicnas
-=- @theexplorer's piece describes a art challenge for their students. I love art, especially painting. I think that learning the fundamentals of how to mix colors can be an amazing thing. I rmemeber doing all of the basic type excersises of these in school but still never even trying to grasp the amazingness and idea behind it.
I hope that @theexplorer continues to push the knowledge and helps create some artist monsters. The world could use more of them. -=-

Steemvoter @buildawhale
Adding @buildawhale to your steemvoter.com account will allow us to have more funds to pay our curators and to reach additional markets. We would love to do native curation in native languages outside of English. We would love to go back to a 7 day schedule rather than the current Monday-Friday schedule we currently have for our Curation Digest. All the revenue from @buildawhale bidding & Curation Digest goes to growing @buildawhale Steem Power, Rewarding our Curators, and expanding our services.
Donate Steem Power
Donating steem power to @buildawhale or @buildawhaletrail allows us to provide larger votes and will increase our trail service to further reward authors featured in our Curation Digest. Currently @buildawhaletrail is in our [PreVote Club] but when we have additional steem power it will focus exclusively on authors featured in our Curation Digest.
Write a post about @buildawhale

As far as I can see, you haven't submitted a bid to @buildawhale. I only see a bid to appreciator. We do not restrict NSFW, but we do not feature NSFW in Curation Digest. At some point, we are looking at having more niche digests.
cheers for response brother.. :}
Hello, I remember you @buildawhale !
You donated to our common noble cause for the first time exactly 22 days ago. Have a great and prosperous day along with my up-vote! You fed me with 9.6 STEEM already but you can always make me stronger, if you want to. It will enable me to help you and your friends more often.
Yours, Spinny
I like very much when everyone who feeds me also reads my friend’s posts, so please visit @holbein81 and read what he has to say! Your name will also appear here. :-) Join my Discord server if you want to meet others: https://discord.gg/Mz2EZP3

Please tell me please. That I have made a mistake on my own. Since I did not get a vote. I will not do this kind of mistake further.
Nice post
Loved reading all the posts, really good curated content.
So, if I find a post I think should 'get a boost' then I need to send at least 3 Steem (or only 3 Steem). Why not SBD?
3 Steem is for Sponsored Curation (to bypass competing against 300-400+ articles a day and getting a featured spot at the top of our daily Curation Digest).
1+ SBD is for bidding for an upvote.
