Wouldn't it be nice if all of us could have the ability to block all the spammers with a click?
I am sick and tired of these people who come to our posts just with one intention, to force feed you with their totally unrelated links or with the "Follow me I follow you, lets grow together" crap.

A block button would be nice, wouldn't it? Maybe we will have that feature in some future hardfork (cross fingers and hope!). Take care.

No, the mute button only prevents YOU from seeing what people write on your posts. It doesn't block them at all.
Isn't that the same thing as you were wanting or did you mean a button to totally block them from posting to anyone?
A blocking button will definitely be too radical and will open the path to abuses. The concept is that people are up-voting and down-voting others. Based on the up-down power, a user gets popular or unpopular. When popularity gets very low, the content is not visible to others. Yet, that person can still get votes, and hopefully he is correcting his behaviour and re-grow his popularity
@steemmillionaire. You are, of course, absolutely right and I'm a dummy. The 'Block' button is indeed the 'Mute' button. Doh! Although having just now seen the reply @brumest gave to your post I'm not quite sure that is what she was meaning.

I go critiqueue their photography and writing skills on their post. They never seem to come back to mine a second time. Wonder why? (scratches head)
I respect your approach on it, but personally I will not lose my time on them.
