Steemit Community Users Policing the Platform...RANT
Hey Steemians,
Since the start of my journey here in this wonderful platform, I've noticed much discussion on how users should perform on Steemit. This includes how users should post, how they should vote, what is not allowed and accepted.

This seems like a way to control the system and it should be more transparent rather than in a box. The features on here should be utilized in whatever way you see fit, in my opinion. Why is there such a moral to up hold?
We understand we want the community and Steemit to grow so we all benefit from the success but others are free to not care I think to? If they want to upvote themselves always, how often they post, what they post or what have you. We just need to set certain requirements for users to follow that majority always agree on and that is that.
This would not be available to happen in the first place, if it was such an issue. For new unknown issues we face, they should work themselves out. This is just a year old business platform operating, so there will be kinks to work out.

Some people are so inpatient, negative, and have no faith in what they are doing(something we do not need to hear). Criticism is great and we should hear all opinions on how to enhance and improve Steemit to be the greatest community in the world we all know it could be!!
Once we grow, the low quality material will be drowned out by all the useful great content.
Also I read in comments about needing more diversity in topics. This will come and if you want more of such a topic, you should be producing it and bringing it to the people as it will be here eventually!
Ok. Rant over. What do you think?
I love Steemit and this community. I want to be here producing content full time and believe I will be. Share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section.

@bitdollar,
I love reading rants ! cause it's like a genuine opinion about ongoing problems. Your concern is somehow right. I expected there's no set of moral values but again being good or bad are really subjective.
People upvoting their own content, well that's okay
not upvoting their own content, that's okay too
But In my opinion, harming the ecosystem and making it less fair share for other is bad. Because steemit is a social media where reward are done by the community with more of a fair share. I might add, corruption is everywhere and really inevitable, even in this platform. You might want to check how many people benefiting form copy pasta content. The news is all there. all people have to do is just READ.
The only thing that shouldn't be done is limiting someone's opinion. I come here to express my ideas freely without wanting to be restricted like I used to be in where I live. I can say whatever I want atleast it's backed up with solid evidence.
Cheers,
From a hustle bean !
I agree with you, the system should not be harmed and we must protect that. Also limiting someones opinion, I feel the exact same way. I am here and most others are because they love free speech and don't want to be ridiculed for what they say or believe. Thanks so much for your thoughts @macchiata!
