A new idea for Steemit: The Gangster Bot!
Steemit has plenty of bots nowadays - for upvoting, resteeming and even for flagging! The flagging bot seemed a bit poorly done, though, but it doesn't matter.
We all love bots so much! Well not all of us though, but it won't stop us from increasing the total amount of bots available on Steemit to add some quality services and improve the total value of Steemit and Steem.
Now I have invented a new kind of bot for Steemit.
The Gangster Bot
The main function of the gangster bot is that it seeks out people posting on Steemit and asks them for money. If he will not receive any SBD or Steem, it will then start threatening the author.
"A nice post you have, it would be a shame if someone flagged it."
If no money is received, then the gangster bot can flag the target users post.
To make the bot more efficient, it could also comment on friends, family and followers of the target author, leaving comments to their posts.. just so the target author knows even his/her closest ones are not safe.
For the flagging to be efficient, the gangster bot requires a vast amount of SP. Flagging a lot of users will spend a lot of VP%, but the beauty is in the more users are paying the protection racket, the more VP% the bot will have to punish those who don't pay.
More premium services could be added, like witness votes for corrupt witnesses or similar deeds for Steem or SBD.

Hey, that's a great idea. I can imagine people could throw money on the bot instead of it requiring to ask for it!

I'm not sure how they changed resteeming in last HF, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was ruined too.
It could also be only removed from Steemit.com but it would still be possible in other interfaces for Steem.

It's on steemit, maybe I can "spoof" the resteem-url somehow using developer mode or something? To resteem this article, I don't care if they send me to steemit-prison, that article was pure gold buddy.
Anyway, who thought it was a smart idea we couldnt resteem old posts?
Probably an infiltrator-facebook-agent, sent to destroy steemit? =)
