The main reason I'm not using this site as much.
Yesterday I tried to post a status update thingy for hours, and was never able to. It kept giving me transaction broadcast error and blah blah.. I eventually gave up.
I then tried to post this message to explain my frustration and was unable to post that as well and after like a half an hour eventually gave up.
I've had these issues since I started posting and usually after a while of changing the tags around or changing the paragraphs in ways that don't really make sense, it eventually works and posts.. Why it doesn't work so much I have no idea, and when it does work.. I usually dunno what I did to get it to work. It seems a bit random.
I've googled the subject and read other threads on similar issues from others, and I've made one status update before. Someone suggested I go to the chat and ask people there and admittedly I have not done that.
Maybe I will, but I would imagine posting an update like this would work the same, and someone could tell me what it is I'm doing wrong without having to go to the chat to investigate further.
I also understand this is still just the beta version and there's prolly lots of bugs and stuff.. But right now.. I'm kinda frustrated.. And.. After hours of trying to post a small lil status update and not being able to do it.. It's wearing on me.
Does anyone have a solution? Or is this just something that will be fixed in time with future updates? Or...? Any ideas? Am I just missing something really simple? Does it work fine for most people? I'm confused.

Thanks for the tip. I've tried that, I've tried using 4 different browsers, I've tried rebooting.. None of those things helped when it wasn't working.
sorry but it mainly seems the last few days only for me and others I know on herein . . .
personally I think the hackers are trying to crackin and get my four dollars worth of Steem ! ! !
Hmmm.. Maybe.. I was wondering if maybe it was the networks were clogged up or something, but the dude claims that the networks can handle way more.. I really dunno what it is.. But it doesn't seem to make much sense to me. It seems random and like it's out of my control outside of changing tags and paragraphs a lil, which helps sometimes. Thanks for your thoughts.
I have noticed the same thing lately. I tried to write a post about my declining value in the wallet. It refused to post-period. I suggest writing a fake upbeat promote steemit post and see if it loads. Blessed BE
That's an interesting though. My post really didn't have anything to do with criticizing steemit, nor did my other ones in the past.. But I feel like it was kind of a sensitive issue in regards to government secrecy and stuff.. Though I still doubt that was the reason. Seems like some kind of server or connection issue or something.. Cause sometimes it works just fine, and others not at all.. it's weird.. Thanks for your thoughts!
I have rarely experienced any issues but when it does happen I’ve found that doing something else for awhile and then retrying what I was doing has worked. I usually save what I write in a separate document and cut and paste it so coming back later and trying again is really easy for me. My guess is that there is some type of bottleneck somewhere when too much usage is occurring that is causing some bug or something. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Glad to hear it's rare for you. It's been pretty common for me so far. But your advice is prob the best advice so far, heh.. Usually it works for me when I try it the next day. And sometimes it's a bummer to write something up and not be able to post it.. But.. I can just wait and post it the next day and not obsess over it so much.
Also yeah. I do the copy paste with the note pad a lot as well. Definitely a good method imo.
Agreed. It's prolly some kind of bottleneck and I also hope it improves.
