How to Block Someone in Steemit?
I got a shock of my life yesterday. I was reading my feed when suddenly I saw someone posted porn videos. I immediately blocked the person. Phew.... So how to do this? You can't do this in Steemit.com.

Blocking via Busy.Org
Let's open your Steemit account using Busy.Org. If you don't know how, check my earlier post here Using busy.org. By the way, this ID was not the one who posted that porn videos, just for example okay.
How To Block Someone in Steemit. A simple tutorial
1. Click this website below and enter your ID and posting key to login. (See red circle below) Busy.Org
2. After you have logged in to Busy.Org you will see your first page like this.
By the way if in Busy.Org, Red fish (in Steemit.com) is called Plankton.
3. Click on your followers list
You can see pictures of your followers next to their names. This is one awesome features of Busy.Org vs Steemit.com
4. Click on one of your followers
When you are already on their page click the three dots (see red circle) it will drop down and you can see 'Block this user'. Click this and you are done blocking this user.

Hi @rlt47, I am much annoyed and traumatized, am currently doing review on my huge following list due to my mistake of just adding anyone who followed me before. I have spent my time from yesterday doing it and still doing it now. Checking each account for ghost users and damaging users. I will post an article on this exercise hopefully can complete soonest. This was bound to happen eventually.
There's a rule online that says that if something exists, then there will be porn of it in the long run.
There have been some attempts by some individuals to turn steemit into a porn website. But so far they're mostly ignored.
I just unfollow and ignore anyone who posts trash on steemit.

The last thing you want are people that clog your feed with trash.

Hi @angelro, yes I was surprised as well and more surprised that they were in my following list. I guess it's my mistake for not checking before adding them. My bad because I normally just add anyone who added me, like follow for follow but this mistake that I learned dearly, need to be corrected. Am doing my review on my following list. There's an user that follows me and had a similar name, I don't use Busy (I'm just knowing it by you), so I can't block it. Does muting works the same?

Hi @mbell, I am now doing review on my following list. This type of damaging post should not appear in my feed if I had practice a cautious way by visiting them before adding them. My mistake was I normally just follow anyone that followed me. So, from now on... I will change my style to check first who is worthy to be followed and not just anyone.
My advise will be the same as @rlt47, just unfollow them, that's the best thing to do.

Yes, I check the user profile before following, I think it's important to see who you follow and as you say, if they are only using you for getting a follow and then unfollow.
