The best recipe for success? Start with nothing

in #steemit8 years ago

Do you want to have your children in the life of advantage? Then do not give them anything. I know that for parents it is natural that they want to give their children advantages in life as well, which they did not, but the billionaire Ned Spieker says that the best thing you can do to their success is to teach them how to succeed from zero.

Ned knows about your success - today is a billionaire and my success achieved through himself. He was thrown out of the house in 18 years (he was something of a black sheep of the family), he worked during university studies and their property acquired through commercial real estate. In 1993 he entered with his company on the stock exchange and about eight years later sold it for $ 7 billion. Today, at age 70, still he works, but now only to maintain the mental condition. Likewise it flows on cars, skis, go for hunting and likes fishing.

How is it that they mastered not only get married and start a family, but also to be fully present when building your million dollar company? Simple. He always tries to be at home in a joint family dinner.

"It's all about building a life balance," says Ned. It also says that one thing follows the other, but if you want to make it work, you need to determine the parameters.

"The only reason I built my real estate company in Western countries was that I could be home for dinner and I could coach a little league football," he says. It depends on the priorities and the family was his top priority. When you hear it, you might think that it was simple and easy. But you are wrong. Ned has a clear philosophy:

Be disciplined. Keep a clear mind so that you maintain your body strong. Ned was a college jock (he played water polo) and practiced after the study.
Live your life. Take your time on the things that mean something to you. Without them having no sense.
In what you do, be the best. Even if you are just a beginner, be the best. Spend over the more time and effort. Success in not long in coming.
If you want to be a good leader, you must be a good servant. Leadership is about service - you serve your business, you serve your people. Good collaboration builds trust, trust builds relationships, loyalty and desire to impress.
Give your employees their share of success. If everyone left a piece of cake, they will be motivated to succeed and you will not have to Pipli with details themselves.
Learn how to make money even while you sleep. You may have to start as a salaried employee, but unless you build your own portfolio, your price will not be tied to the number of hours worked.
Improve your mental strength. Building the Resilience teach you to go through life and one day to handle all the problems that come.
Start small. Ned began building small warehouses of which was sure to be good and was slowly thanks to them in the industry more and more known. Focus on priority things and do their best, then use them as stairs to success.
Keep your perspective. What it looks like a major crisis After a time only as a blip on the radar, if you look at it deeper.
Adversity is the path to success. Ned says that donating a million dollars is the same as if you gave them poison. You shall never love or respect when someone gives you money just like that. Self-esteem you can not buy - you deserve it.

Who would say that success is so simple? Now you peel off from the screen and run to earn their own million.
