๐ Steemit-Ironchef Week Four: Zucchini ๐
My lovely Steemians and fellow #Steemit-ironchef contestants. This is just a quick post to say well done to this week's entries!
I have been man down with a very bad flu since Saturday. You will notice that I only managed to get one post out this week - shameful!
So I sadly don't have an entry for this week's Steemit-IronChef.
I was planning on making either a stunning Zucchini Linguine with Chili and Prawns, an adaption of the recipe in the clickable image below
I really wanted to try my hand at using the zucchini in a light, lemony chiffon cake. Something like the below (clickable) image. I mean, an Earl Grey Buttercream. Are you kidding me?!?
Sadly, today is the first day I have woken up feeling well enough to even think about venturing into the kitchen, and I'm all outta time!
I thought I would put a fun spin on this non-entry post though, and choose my top entries. I know our leader @progressivechef loves sexy food, and we have some very sexy entries this week.
My first pick is @chefsteve's amazing Zucchini Panna-Cotta
I think to make an unexpected dessert is just genius! The presentation is also just sublime.
My second choice is @babettxx's simple, yet stunning Zucchini Cream Soup. I think it looks elevated, yet simplistic. I also love anything with cashews and dill!
My final choice is newcomer @pusteblume, with her refreshing take on the humble Ratatouille. I think it looks beautiful, and I would love to try it!
If I know @progressivechef, I think he will choose @offoodandart's entry. It ticks all the boxes, and is most certainly elevated. I MEAN JUST LOOK AT IT!!! SHE EVEN USED THE FLOWERS!

Love zucchini linguini!! We have a spiralizer thingy just for that - only comes out every now and again, but it's aways nice!
When I make it though, it never looks anything like the pictures in this post...
