Steemimages Top 5 week 1 Monochrome

Here is a round up of the first full weeks curation by @steemimages it has been a great experience sifting through the photographs and finding little gems all over the place that had a few votes attached to them some had very little votes. In our small way we hope to give you encouragement to continue posting.

This week we have been focused on one genre of photography. #Monochrome. Many professional photographers will often shoot in monochrome as it has advantages graphically. Skies look more dramatic. Portraits capture the features in a way that colour just doesn't. They often show the character of the subject if done well. Street scenes have more depth.
