Payout Schedule

5% of author rewards generated via Steemhunt will automatically be sent to @steemhunt.pay for the sponsor’s rewards. See below for more details about the payout schedules:

25th Apr (Wed) - The 5% author rewards began to be accumulated in @steemhunt.pay. We are continuously powering down as soon as the rewards are accumulated.
2nd May (Wed) - 1/13th of the amount powered down will be transferred to STEEM.
7th May (Mon) - First reward for delegators will be paid out.

Steemhunt SP Delegation Program

As we announced in the program launching post, we are collecting 5% beneficiary from the author rewards via the Steemhunt platform, and we will distribute it among sponsors who delegate Steem Power (SP) to @steemhunt. The amount of the rewards will be proportional to the delegated SP.

How We Use Your Delegated SP

@steemhunt runs an automated voting bot to encourage hunters to introduce more products and share their opinions about the product. The bot upvotes everyday with the following rules:

@steemhunt upvotes all of the posted products that meet our posting guidelines via Steemhunt.com.
@steemhunt uses 20% voting power everyday, and the set voting powers will vary based on the post’s final rank of the day.
@steemhunt also upvotes the “Pros and Cons” review comments.

Why We Need Sponsors

As we explained in the program description, Steemhunt is aiming to compete with Product Hunt, the original inspiration for Steemhunt. Since its debut in 2013, Product Hunt, which has over 8 million monthly active users (ref - SimilarWeb), has become the go-to destination for tech start-ups to launch their products. If we are able to make promising hunter’s rewards in Steemhunt, it will be a great motivation to attract the 8 million plus users of Product Hunt to Steemhunt, which will be beneficial for the entire STEEM community.
