I used to grow plants in a pot. But the plant died soon after. Maybe it's because I water the pot too much. Because I was not used to growing plants, I often watered them for fear of drying out. So I don't grow plants in the pot ever since. If I had Sustee, I could know when to water the pot, and perhaps my potted plant could grow well. Thank you for hunting good products.
Gardening is something I've tried before and when you're new to something you tend to make mistakes. That's what happened to me when I first tried planting cherry tomatoes. My plants whithered because of lack of sunlight and too much water.
I didn't know that although plants do need water, you need to provide it to them on a timely manner and in sufficient amounts - not too much, not too less.

I was actually suprised to see that the video is in Japanese which prompted me to look into the site. Cabinotier Co., Ltd., representated by its president, Mr. Ryo Orihara, made this product. It was established in July, 2013 with a capital of 10,000,000 yen.
Pardon me, this is not the first one who checked the moisture. I have seen many such cool innovative gadgets even I also hunted one of them.
Gardening is my favorite hobby in leisure time but unfortunately, I don't have enough place to do gardening. I would love to use Sustee if I had a garden. I believe such gadgets would be a great help for those who don't care much that when the plant needs water. Nice hunting! :)

As greenery is life so when some one see a greenery or visit garden he feel fresh. I am also fond of gardening and so many plants already in my homesteading. Now its the time of technology and every field of life take the benefits of latest technology. So there are so many devices and apps available for take care of our plants which gives us opportunity to feel free about their nutrition. "Sustee" is just looking as pencil or stick which can check precisely the moisture of plant. So we can easily know from sustee when we watering it. @replayphoto very amazing and cool hunting.
I am a gardening lover but I can't manage space at my home to plant things. I don't have enough space as I am living in a rented house but I plan to plant all my favorite plants when I have enough space for them.
I worked on a project proposal back in the past which was about drip irrigation system for plants. That was a complete package for plants as it has both sensors and actuators. Unlike this sensor, my system along with the sensing capability it was also able to turn on the valve so the water and other required nutrients can be provided to plants.
There were many factors which my system was working on, humidity, temperature, pH, and moisture were some of them.
But unfortunately. I couldn't get the required funding to make that system a reality. However, there are some companies now selling a similar system with some modifications.
As an agriculturist I always like the tools which related to plant and agriculture. As my view this very effective tools for agriculture. Excellent hunt. Keep up your good job.
Great finding yep we have a small garden in the backyard of our house usually our gardener take care of plants but when he is on vacations then we have to take care of them i love watering plants so i do but i usually do this in morning and evening not in day time because my baba says in day time watering is not good it might be cause of wilting plants. well it is indeed cool innovation at least now we can figure out our plants are thirsty they need water :p
Gardening is really good habit and watering at correct time helps there growth.
