So this is me unveiling the lady behind @jeaniepearl's username, this is me creating myself in words, this is me pouring out my whole being to the public,with nothing left back.

WHY JEANIEPEARL?

The first time I uploaded my picture here, I was shocked to find out that people used to see me as a guy,maybe it's because the population of men here outstands that of ladies so they assume every unknown figure to be a guy. I am a lady,the username @jeaniepearl is my nickname, I carved jeanie from Maryjane and pearl is a stone for those born in the month of June(I am one of them).

BIOGRAPHY

For these past days,I have been writing about other things, today the writer would write about the writer. My name is Maryjane Madubuobi,I am an African lady,a Nigerian and igbo to be precise. I am 23years old, I school at university of Ibadan, studying Agricultural and bio-environmental Engineering. I am a holder of Ordinary National Diploma in the same course am studying now,I acquired my OND in Yaba college of technology. Places I have lived in are lagos State, Anambra and Ibadan. I have never travelled outside Nigeria.

MY PERSONALITY

I am an introvert,I listen more than I speak,I can be very boring to hangout with and fun at the same time. If I was to be a lower class animal, I would be a chameleon different people have different things to say about me,to some am a talkative, to others am too reserved, to some am super caring, to others am selfish. I don't give out myself to everyone equally, just like a chameleon, you determine my colour. I have phobia for failure, that's the main reason I pursue success in life,although I have come to accept that failure is a phase we must all pass through in some aspect of our lives.

I am the worst public speaker I have ever met,I could pee on my Pant while making a three minutes speech. I am very good at assisting people in projects and positions but am not so good a leader. I am a self dependent lady,my first experience of being an employee was immediately after my secondary school, I worked, saved and sponsored myself in school of technology. I don't feel comfortable being at the mercy of others,I enjoy working for my money and providing my needs.

WHAT KIND OF LOVER IS @JEANIEPEARL???

I easily fall in love and almost take eternity to fall out, that is the reason people see me as hard to get,I guide my heart like a treasure cause I know how difficult it can be for me to stop loving once am in. I love with everything I got,am incapable of hiding my feelings or pretending to love Less. I have never hated an X, we either become friends or part peacefully. I am that lover that is usually insecure,love attention and care.

HAPPY MOMENTS

I have had several reasons to be happy in life but I can't really say if i have ever been truly happy. Nothing excites me too much,the only time I can say that I get super excited is when am singing praises and dancing to God,it takes me to the other world. I can list a whole lot of things I have experienced that would make an average person jumb and scream for joy , but not me. The one way I know how to express my joy is in words,maybe I am yet to encounter that special experience that would move me.

SADNESS

My growing up was nothing near a bed of roses,as the last child of the family, every other person seemed busy,I played all by myself, acted drama with imaginative friends. Things weren't going too well for my family so I didn't have half of my wants, I was one of the few pupil or probably the only one that didn't look forward to break time or sing the some have food.... with joy. The greatest pain I ever had was watching my mother fight cancer,it was such a terrifying experience, won't go into details. We lost her to the cold hands of death last year.

GOALS

My main goal in life is to be better than my yesterday, I try a lot to improve myself and take corrections. I want to be a successful lady,I want to be a virtuous woman,I want to touch lives near and afar.

BUCKET LIST

There are things I would love to achieve, some I already gave up on and some am working on,can't list them all.

1. Learn how to speak yoruba:- I was born in Lagos and most people think am Yoruba, really love to hear and speak the language.

1. Run magazine in school :- Before I got admission into University of Ibadan,I set out plans on how I will run a little paged weekly magazine that involves gist of things happening in the campus, pictures, contest and much more but when I resumed school, the work load was too much and I barely had time for myself.

1. Create a talent display website :- I once discussed with a website designer on creating a site where people would upload their best talent work monthly, and likely work would be rated accordingly and publicised.

1. create steemit club in UI:- I really hope this won't become an abandoned project.

I don't really know if I have discovered my true purpose in life but for now,the things I hold on to are those things people compliment me for.
