Steemfest in a virtual world

Place to meet up, see pictures, and talk with others about Steemfest and Steemit in a virtual world.

This is a past idea that many have expressed interested in. But wasn't able to get off the ground. So I am looking to further explore this idea now that Steemfest is going on.

Virtual Steemfest in a virtual World Ideas

A place where interested users in coming to visit land in a virtual world where many Steem(it) things would be shared and potentially explored, and discussed. This could serve as a place where many pictures from #steemfest could be presented. Then by looking around you could see what you may have missed having been busy at #steemfest, or missed when looking through all the posts in your time reading other ones.

For those unable to attend, they could come here to meet with others or just to explore. See many pictures from #steemfest all at once. Maybe plan and attend meetings to expand on ideas from inside or outside #steemfest that people are interested in exploring further.

Example of an avatar viewing art in a virtual world

Maybe you want to share your art, photography or your main #steemit blog page. Or suggest art and photography you would like to see in a #steemit art gallery or museum in a virtual world. Which would be like walking into a real world museum with your avatar. Steemit users could create an avatar in the virtual world of YrGrid.

Virtual World Steemit Events, Meetings, Performances, or Presentations

Would you like to attend or hold an event in Steemland in a virtual world or virtual steemfest or meetup?

Some artists, musicians, photographers, and performers have expressed some interest in possibly holding events of some sort. So we can see what group of people are interested in these ideas. What time zones are good for various groups. Or visitors can come anytime to view art and photographs.

Artist and photographers could present tutorials or team projects in part of this virtual Steemland idea. Or invite interested users in any number of shared interests.

Games such as poker for bitcoin SBD and/or Steem

Could have a virtual world game room with poker, and slot machine contests for bitcoin and Steem. Most users will prefer to not play games or to play them online. But for those few interested in playing games in a virtual world this can be offered. Having been in various parts of the game industry for much of my life I would be happy to offer this idea. Have some poker tables and slot machines already in YrGrid from a past game business as well.

Idea of rewarding participants and visitors

Stemit users could be given bitcoin, Steem (Backed) Dollars (SBD), and/or STEEM POWER (SP) for visiting and various activities such as clicking on boards to visit #steemit links, or to play games. This idea could grow and reward presenters and performers for holding events in the virtual world.

Please feel free to comment your thoughts and interests. Anyone may also comment with their YrGrid name if they have or choose to create an avatar account with any First and Last name chosen that is available as a user name which requires a first and last name. YrGrid has viewers for Windows and Mac. Radegast offers a lighter weight viewer which may be better for some users and also runs on Linux. Please note that virtual worlds require more RAM memory and better graphic cards than everyone has.
Ready to put together and open virtual #steemfest and Steemland if there is interest in me doing so. Had some initial interest before and numerous visitors but not enough at the time. Thinking more may be potentially interested. Could also have this idea presented in Second Life instead possibly as I have talked with #steemit users who have used Second Life like myself and a few that are active there now and even have offered some land for these ideas to be explored.

      I like how you promote interactions and collaboration between Steemians. This would be a real Steem Fest , as people would gather physically and virtually.
