The focus on the Applicationlayer as a primary driver, I think after all we know about networks it is right BUT the ultimative condition for any SMTs to be used --> is that the world knows about it. Ethereum and EOS had huge exposure to mainstream media back then. When Ned speaks about a horizon of one year for SMTs to take of, than I dont see where the accelleration should come from, because there is no big PR-department...

I know the situation when you meet people "for the first time" although you have the feeling you know each already so well. I'm playing tabletop-rpg online and meeting people after having played together for years is awesome and a bit strange at the same time ;)
