We have a few groups like SteemitMNL, Steemit BLOGGERS (Cebu-based) and Steemit TeamPhilippines (and now apparently 2 Discord channels) and I would like to get-

all of those Filipino bloggers together IN ONE PLACE :)

In our Discord and facebook chat we always need to answer questions like:
* How to use Markdown?
* What is a Blockchain?
* Who wants to be a STEEMIT developer?What are the BASICS?
* What stuff should I blog about?
* How to I earn from STEEMIT?
* What do I do to turn my STEEM into Philippine Pesos?
* What are Whaleshares and Whalevotes?
* What are Steem Tools?

We are still trying to get more speakers for this event (10 minutes talk), video conferencing is possible so hit up the comments if you want to contribute in this space:

We are looking to video conference or show videos about STEEMIT and encourage BLOGGERS from other platforms to join us!

Ultimately the goal is to GROW the Steemit Community and the best place to start is where we have the most impact.

We have a venue shortlisted through @sasha.shade's effort that will include a buffet lunch and iced tea at this cool place called Rehab Distillery bar 324 or Rehab Gastrobar in Mandaluyong.

We can get it at 300PHP per head with projector and sound system AND the food and drinks. Not bad right?

The thing is it requires 50% downpayment beforehand so we need your confirmation to the event. You wouldn't want to miss out on those FREE STEEM AND BEYONDBITS, wouldn't you?

If not that many people pre-register and we aren't able to get a sufficient headcount, we can rent one of their rooms instead for a smaller gathering:

If we get a huge number on Aug 5, there is legroom for a BIGGER event that we can market better in the coming months with potential partnerships with media outlets to get the word out about STEEMIT bloggers and to have our future event costs sponsored. @dreamiely has informed me of a common friend that can get a proposal to Preview and a friend of mine can get out proposal to Hinge (subsidiary of Inquirer).

While these are all just ideas right now, STEEMIT TeamPH can make it all a reality ---GROW and WIDEN our reach and PROMOTE the STEEMIT platform.
