Act 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Act 5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Imagine this scene! People are bringing their sick from all around to lay their bodies in the street. Everyone waiting for Peter to walk through, because if his shadow would touch them they were healed. I see people claiming they are experiencing revival, but true revival has this component of the miraculous. When Heaven touched earth! Peter was just a man! It was the ONE walking with Peter that made the difference.

• Signs and Womders
  Act 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

• The Fear of the Lord (Holiness)
  Act 5:13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
  Not seeker friendly.

• Multitudes Getting Saved
  Act 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

• No need to advertise “Revival Here”
  Act 5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

• Persecution by the religious
  Act 5:17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,
  Act 5:18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

By this post, I am in no way recommending what many do. Always looking for something new going on. Driving or flying to the next Big Event. I have never been this person following signs. Following a move of God. Signs are supposed to follow us as believers. We are not to follow after signs. Much of what is advertised today as “Revival” is only hype. For me I am always asking God to first, keep me in personal revival. 2nd, help me start a revival fire wherever I am.

This is a series in healing and biblically revival is when souls come in the kingdom and God heals all!

I have witnessed this kind of move of God for a short amount of time. Two months was the longest and 2 to 3 hours was the shortest. I believe the miracles that God did through Peter as we see in our original text, was just a taste of what God wants to do and will do through a vessel that will run with Him.

In Jamaica New York, we preached a 7 day meeting with 8 services during the 7 days. The evening services started at 7 PM and we would still be on fire at 2 AM. The place was packed and one thing I noticed, nobody sat down the entire service. When there is a true move of God, people are not coming late, but arriving early. If starting time is 7, many are already there by 6 or earlier. These are already worshipping and praying. There are already tears in their eyes as they experience His Presemce and long for more.
At 2 in the morning we would try to send people home, but most everyone stayed and even slept in the church as God’s Presence was tangible. You just did not want to leave! This church was in a very bad part of town and people would come in off of the streets all throughout the night and go right to the altar, freely confessing their sins and crying out to God for mercy!
During this revival, people were instantly healed. The demon possessed were delivered and not one person was laying hands on the sick or casting out demons. No commands “Come out in Jesus’ Name”.
During real revival, souls are saved people repent of their sins. During true revival, God Heals Them All.
During this 7 days, every person sick, possessed were instantly healed.

It is as easy for God to cure cancer as it is for Him to heal a small cut on your finger

We see a sickness and our perception of God, many times is small. Our perception of His Mercies falls short. He is Johovah Rapha! The Lord that Heals!

The ministry of Jesus shows us the Heart of the Father

Mat 4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Mat 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Revival is God’s Answer to Prayer from Faithful Believers

Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Let’s pray for true revival in our personal life. Let’s believe God that He would bring revival to our town and country. Let’s pray and believe and never relent until we see it come to pass.
