Having family and friends is the most beautiful thing that happens to us human race , as living a life without having them around doesn’t make any sense. How close are you with your friends, how often do you share with them everything you know about life and on how to navigate life?

That’s brings us to the story of King David and his best friend Jonathan, David was a poor shepherd who found his delight in God for sustenance, as most of us know his story, God later used him to deliver Israel from their most fierce and feared enemy. That incident brought the poor boy into the king’s palace. On his arrival, he met with a soulmate called Jonathan who happened to be king’s son, Jonathan gave David everything he needed and took him as a brother, saved him from his father’s plots to kill him David.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle. 1 Samuel 18:1-4 (KJV)

After so many years, the kingship was transferred to the poor shepherd David, Jonathan his friend was no more but David didn’t forget his dealings with his old friend of his blessed memory.

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house. Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons. And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth. So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet. 2 Samuel 9 (KJV)

In conclusion

Having all these said, I believe that you’ve seen the reason why you must involve in family and friendship development, help your family understand the power of blockchain in our ever changing world, just as I’ve tried to help by introducing you to steemchurch and to our Telos village church.

Continue doing good to everyone that comes in contact with you, life is so mysterious that every man must in one way or another reap the fruits of his dealings with people, don’t say that you probably might not be around then; understand that human doesn’t die completely, we’re being transferred through child bearing, your generation is you! Contribute to their wellbeing from now through good moral investment. Start from your Jerusalem which is your home and extend to others.
