"Revival brings us closer to God"

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Hello friends of Steemit, in my daily posts related to @steemchurch I will present you in a fun, fresh and very dynamic way the gospel of our Lord Jesus. So get comfortable and get ready to know a little more about the word of GOD that is not only for old people or with time in the ways of the LORD. Thank God for the life of the leader @sirknight.

Hello friend God has given me the opportunity to talk a little about the revival, and what a blessing it has been for many people. We have read topics such as: For revival you need repentance", "Revival produces restoration" and "Revival must be maintained" and today we will talk about "Revival brings us closer to God".
Topics that undoubtedly some are food for our faith and today I bring this publication that is the complement of the previous ones. I hope it will be a great help for your spiritual life.

NOTE: We must understand that God is on mission, redeeming an errant world and calling his people to establish a relationship of communion with Him.

Read: "This is eternal life that you know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" (John 17: 3).

  • We were created perfect for a love relationship
God wanted a people with whom he could have fellowship and fellowship, so he created Adam. And then to Eva in her own image and likeness. (Read Genesis 1: 26,27,31). Before sin entered the world, the relationship of man and woman with God was pure and beautiful. The first mandate for us is that we love it with our whole being (Mark 12: 29,30). The time that God gives us of life constitutes our opportunity to get to know Him.

  • The relationship with God one day broke
Adam and Eve had the possibility of choosing a life of perfect communion with the creator or death as a consequence of their disobedience (Genesis 3: 8). The consequence of his sin was death. From then on, human beings chose to sin. Talk about how a perfect relationship can be broken because of one of the parties.

  • God provides redemption for his people
To redeem is to pay the ransom for a slave and make it free. The "redeemed" became the property of the one who had bought it. God loves those he created. He does not want anyone's death. He wants everyone to repent (2 Peter 3: 9). So God sent his own son Jesus to pay the death penalty for our sin. When God saves us, it brings us back to a perfect relationship of love.

  • God calls his people to work with Him.
Read Exodus 19: 3-6. Note that God calls Moses and tells him that "I have brought you to me". We usually believe that God took Israel to the promised land, but in reality it is that I take them to HIM.

Read Deuteronomy 7: 6. Here it is said that the people of God are holy and special. Make the people of the group understand that God makes us special, valuable, that no matter the past, now the Lord has a great purpose for us (especially to insist on this, if we see that in the group there are people with very low self-esteem).

God gave us the "Ministry of reconciliation". 2 Chronicles 5:18. God wants to reconcile the world with himself, but that ministry of reconciliation has been given to the church, therefore to each one of us. (Explain the meaning of the word reconciliation: two enmity people who make peace again).

We are also ambassadors of Christ (2 Chronicles 6: 1). Explain that an ambassador is a representative of someone in front of a third party. Act always in the name of another, and is the image of a country or a person. Thus we represent Christ on earth.

We must pray for each one personally. Encourage them to spend some time each day to have a time alone with God.

God bless you
