Look Up To God

A man was praying for a breakthrough. He was broke, jobless, homeless and all. He needed money badly and all he could pray for was a miracle.

He knew his neighbor had money. He only needed a small amount of money, compared to what his neighbor had. So he believed God for a miracle through his neighbor.

He prayed that God should miraculously ask his neighbor to give him this money.
Then he went ahead to ask his neighbor.

The neighbor kept promising him to return the next day and the next day, he'd ask him to come another day.

He was praying to God for help, but he was also looking to man, his neighbor for the same help.

And this is what many of us do today.
Our eyes are on God for his blessing on our lives but our hearts are also with a man for a fulfillment of that blessing/miracle.

Remember, God works in mysterious ways.
His ways are not our ways and His paths are not ours.

Most times, we think we can help God fast track our miracles or breakthroughs but we forget that God is an all knowing God.
He doesn't need our help or support to do anything for us.

You have two eyes. 👀
Can you make one to look up and the other to look down at the same time?

When you are looking up to man for your blessing, never claim to be looking up to God.

For they looked up to God, and were lightened and their faces were never ashamed Psalms 34:5.
