ANSWERS IN THE MIDDLE OF NEED

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

Each day that goes by brings with it complex situations of which we are always alert that it will bring us tomorrow or over the years, and more if we are going through moments that increase our anxiety, but also bring with them discouragement and lack of faith.Biblical text: James 5: 7-20 NKJ 1960.

If you are going through difficult times, it does not mean that your whole life will be like that, and that this will be your end and much more if you have known how to sow. ¨ Therefore, brothers, be patient until the coming of the Lord. See how the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently until he receives the early and the latter rain "(Vs 7).

One of the first things we must do to obtain the answer that we need so much is to trust in God, for it is necessary PATIENCE, it is a very difficult fruit to harvest, but when we can not solve the problems with our own strength and it comes out of the hands, we want or we do not have to wait and not look for guilty (vs 9).

It is not easy to wait when you suffer, when you lose, when there is no response, when your soul hurts, but for all those feelings God has a solution. ¨ Behold, we consider blessed those who suffer. You have heard of Job's patience, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is very merciful and compassionate "(Vs 11).

The second thing we must do is PRAY, patience teaches us to trust and know how to ask God why he deals with our hearts and through prayer he will bring the answer we long for, since if we are desperate we will not know how to approach God. and therefore we will not have a clear picture of what God wants and what we should do.

This passage advises us to pray at all times. ¨ Is anyone among you afflicted? Pray Is anyone cheerful? Sing praises. Is anyone sick among you? Call the elders of the church, and pray for him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous can do much. "(Vs 13-16)

Then, dear brothers, let us pray without ceasing, there is the key to everything, God does not abandon his children, so it is worth waiting for.

Sort:

Ask God what we need. Like a good Father, He knows how to give his children what they need. The prayer must include the request, since by asking God we are recognizing our incapacity and insufficiency. Whatever our situation, we must present our need to the Lord -provision, protection, healing or direction- and ask him to help us.
