Return to your Native religions.

Look what the God of Abraham and his followers have done to this earth. He is a god of light so bright he has blinded our people.

Judaism, Islam, Christianity are creations of the Middle East. Your ancestors practiced a native religion for 99% of humans existence and now we have destroyed our planet.

If you only care about the afterlife then what is the point. Focus on today, focus on your children, honor your ancestors and preserve your sacred bloodline and fight to make this world worth living in.

Christianity wants you to forget about what they did to us and what they are doing to us. They have separated us from nature and from our ancestors by destroying our past and traditions.

They practice cannibalism by eating the flesh of Christ and drinking his blood, you have sold your soul for the false promise of eternal bliss.

God did not create us in his image, we created the gods in our own image. They evolved with us. Look inside and you will know the truth of your ancestors.

If the Christian God will control you in this life, what will happen in the next?

Stand before your gods and remember the strength you need was given to you by your ancestors and by nature, not a man from the desert. You have the power to save yourself.

Sort:

Well, I know, we are all entitled to our opinions, but I slightly disagree with you with all due respect. Religion is not the problem rather the individuals who turn the holy books for their selfish interest is the problem.

Most of these religious leaders take advantage of the minds of people and deceive them into doing so many awful things.

They force people to fight and kill all in the name of religion. Everything boils down to your understanding of God's word.

I'm pretty sure the holy books are pretty clear... Luke 19:27

But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.'"

well firstly it's a parable, and you do what a lot of con-preachers do, take the passage out of context to make a pretext (thinking of joel osteen et al 'prosperity gospel yeah!')

however, the bible is very clear - those who do not repent, get with God, realise how fallen they are but that God made a way for all our sins to be forgiven and we could start again with a new heart and a new mind living forever with no disease or suffering, are going to suffer some horrible plagues as described in revelation 8,9,15,16 mainly.

now if God was doing this without warning He would be a monster. but the fact that He's given everybody 2000 years to get their heads right, that He is patient and long-suffering, despite what men are doing to other men, and the horrendous crimes to His children He has suffered, He still gives everyone the chance to realise the truth.

fair?

First, you say the Bible is a parable then go on to say that the Bible is very clear. Okay...

Second, even if every word were true, I wouldn't care because I am European it's not the religion of my people.

no, i said that passage was a parable. if we cannot even communicate basically there is no point in conversing further.

you're right though, christianity is the religion of God. if that's not your people, then i refer you back to reveleation 8,9 15, 16. not pretty. peace.

Actually you didn't state that passage as a parable. You stated

well firstly it's a parable

To someone unfamiliar with the bible and the concept of a parable, it could quite easily be assumed that you're referring to the entire bible itself.

if we cannot even communicate basically there is no point in conversing further.

Well, your highness, terribly sorry this man disappointed you.

you're right though, christianity is the religion of God. if that's not your people, then i refer you back to reveleation 8,9 15, 16. not pretty. peace.

Fear marketing to as a last resort to get people to think in your lines.

You are the one that is unchanging in your beliefs and will not listen. Yet you accuse others of having no flexibility.

How about you question your 'ineffable' beliefs?

The effort made in trying to change the unchangeable is a useless exercise. The cancer of humanity's indulgence will eat this Earth regardless.

Christians aside.

Who cares about our future?

Who is really in control here?

Are you in control of your life?

Lately I'm forced to consider no one is in control. And those that 'are', only have the perception of being in control in an unending undulating cycle.

God has set the plotline, but it is up to each of us to fill our role accordingly. every one has a choice, so yes you are in control of your life (not in the macro, but in the every day personal.)

you're right that man is the problem and the bible itself says things will only get worse and worse as man cannot rule without suffering and problems.

'God' maybe, but God as a cosmic force in an inevitable maze of physics.

Not God as a personality or a bearded creature on a throne in the sky or in another dimension. No, like Santa Claus and the tooth fairy this is what we teach children.

Consciousness is built from symbols, every belief system has a map.

Posted using Partiko Android

no, God is a person - no beard afaik though, but definitely a Father who talks and writes to His children, and not some mystical impersonal cosmic force that doesn't want much to do with us.

family, eh?

God is a person to your belief system.

The problem here is that you have a need to impose your particular belief.

If you can accept what I have already said, then we have already started to stop the wars begun by christians.

and the war by muslims, buddhists & atheist-materialists?

i have not imposed my belief system on anything. i have read the bible for myself. it speaks truth, everything else i was told is a lie.
do people lie in your experience? have the rulers lied to you at all ever?

No, you cannot change another's beliefs. You can start with the damage the conditioning you have been raised with has caused. Christian crusades throughout the years have drawn an ocean's worth of blood. Today's version is no different.

The choice to stop wars fueled by Christian 'rightness' starts with you.

When you move to change by accepting others' belief systems, and recognize beliefs as beliefs and not reality - you pave a path for others to do the same.

If you allow flexibility, you get to keep what you have, or, risk losing everything for everyone.

Those are the stakes.

You decide.

Do your beliefs and your 'right' to have them supercede another's right to live?

you made a huge assumption at the start - i was not raised christian, nor any other religion.

i kind of implied that early on, though maybe you missed it.

also, you seem to make no distinction between Jesus Christ the man and saviour, and the church, which you have rightly said has not acted on behalf of God or Jesus since the first century.

wow, corruption by men of pure ideals eh, who'd have thought?

well, Jesus - talked about it in the new testament on many occasions, as did His disciples.

i'm just guessing,. you've never actually read/ studied the bible for yourself have you?

so everything you believe is from what others have told you, and how the churches have horrible represented Christ?

i was the same as you until a few short years ago, but then i read it for myself.

my faith is of no concern to anyone else at all. you have a very distorted view of Jesus-ism i'm afraid, but i imagine you prefer to go on hating and not knowing, rather than finding out the truth?

I also disagree. It is not religion that is destroying this earth, it is people. I believe God created this earth and that He is maintaining it. I believe that I am saved and will receive eternal life, through Jesus Christ that paid for my sins. (Christians don't drink the blood and eat the flesh of Jesus, it is bread and wine, which is symbolic)

i think you do not have the gospel. you have some rantings from the babylonian roman church which has nothing to do with God or Jesus, but is the most recent incarnation of the mystery religion opposed to God. Jesus said to break bread and drink wine in memory of Him, pretty normal, but the catholics have made it into a weird babylonian fetish thing that doesn't make any sense to anyone outside the church, nor to God Himself.

i used to think like you. then i looked into evolution and cosmology, researched all of the evidence and arguments they don't tell you about in school, college or university, and worked out we are being played, programmed, manipulated into believing falsehoods as true and truths as lies, exactly as orwell said it was going to be.

turns out there is no cross-species evolution, and the earth is all there is - those lights in the sky are exactly that - made for the earth, tiny, not that far. changes things a lot if it's true, doesn't it?

peace.

Does it completely shake your world to come to terms with the idea that your version of God is not the only avenue to living a good life?

Can you accept the damage people have done in the name of your God?

Your posts are aggressive at best, and it's great you're here to fight the fight but how is this the love of Jesus you speak?

You are more concerned with being right than anything else.

This post is a man's expression of his experience and his frustrations with contradictions inherent with society and religion.

If Jesus is your true God, then take empathy. The world is fucked.

And religion is a tool for control.

The system of belief that will work for everyone is one that accepts all belief systems.

That's called society.

I'm glad @balticbadger has had a stab. It takes guts to speak up. Especially when it is known that all arguments will end up going in circles.

So let's stop arguing and get along.

Not just because I said it, because by fuck, something has to change.

Hello. I dont share your view. It is not religion that made world like this, it is people (priests are also people of flesh and blood). For example 10 commands are not only God commands, it is also some kind of moral code. If we live by this commands world would be better place. Problem were people who did bad thinks in the name of God. And corrupted government's. I'm orthodox Christian and our religion have fast that forbids eating flesh and other animal products.

where in the bible does it say to not eat flesh or animal products?

what did Jesus eat after His resurrection? what does paul say about foods in romans 14:20?

you're right though, men have corrupted the world, many in the name of religion and Christ, and only Jesus can sort it out - all those who believe and repent are 'orthodox' christians. but you're talking about the eastern orthodox church aren't you?
peace.

Yes. Eastern Orthodox church. This part for fasting doesn't include only not eating animal meat or products but to resist any kind of temptation (thoughts or acts). I'm not so educated about religion like you maybe (although the bigger problem is the language barrier to talk about this things) but way i see it, it is the purest feeling human can experience (beside true love). I'm sorry if I make grammatic mistakes. Peace.

yes, Jesus bids us to 'pick up our cross and follow Him' - this means doing as HE did, which is being righteous, in thought and deed, and for most of us this takes a great amount of practice and change!

but the only set fast i know of in the bible is the day of atonement - other than that you do it as you decide, no one is to decide for you just as no one should decide what you eat, which day you sabbath (if at all, your choice) as long as you love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself.

where are you from friend?

I agree with you my friend. :)
I'm from Montenegro.

What inspired your to write this post?

Today in Germany is Himmelfahrt (when Jesus goes to heaven). It's a national holiday. A celebration of being conquered by a foreign God.

Something else to be noted, it was common practice by conquering civilisations, early Christian period included, to demonize the gods of the enemies' belief systems. İt's a game of topsy turvy over and over again.

The current paradigm pushes the current view but over the millenia things power has shifted constantly.

Christianity is just one player in this game. And may all those that kill in the name of the Christian God burn in their own self imposed hells forever.
