The Old Dog Presents: SteemTradeCards, New Design Presentation And First Recipient!
After many revisions and much discussion we are thrilled to present the SteemCard design for 2018. I’m sure that you will agree that @airmatti has done a tremendous job with this all-new version!
The Idea Behind The Design
Now that we have so many different projects connecting to the Steem Blockchain we wanted to reflect that idea with the new cards.
On the front of the card you can see a retracting door that gives access to the Steem blockchain. This access is gained only by the use of the various UI’s which appear on the side panels in front of the retracting door. Cool stuff! Dang we're getting figurative as we age!
Other Exciting New Details
- Each new card will be accompanied by an animated video presentation which will be hosted at our other site @steemtradecards! Here is the link.
- The recipient of each card will receive, as a gift from both @airmatti and @kus-knee 10 printed copies of their card which will be mailed to any address of their choice. You can pm us in steemit.chat with this information.
- This year there will be new categories and on this first card we present for the first time the category "Historical Figure".

Despite being born with Cerebral Palsy this SEO specialist and much-followed Steemer has refused to let that slow him down. His positive spirit, ultra sharp sense of humour and engaging style have brought him success and shown all of us what is possible if we work hard and do our best!

Posts: Engages with the community an average of almost 9 times a day on a variety of fun, educational and interesting topics.
Followers: Has gained an average of over 6 followers a day over the course of his Steem blockchain bantering!
Random Fact: In typical optimistic fashion @darthnava referred to the using his new wheelchair for the first time as “testing my new throne.” This guy’s an inspiration!

I use Steemify all the time and I'm sure that once the android version is released it's really going to explode!

It's really exciting to open the door on the new Steemcards year. It was a boy dream becoming reality for me to work on "Upper-deck" style cards! Thanks for all the effort and the opportunity @kus-knee! The project will add some magic to the Steemit-universe, as well represented by the first character of this year: @darthnava!
