Advances in lyric poetry contest & new call with the label sweetie

Man is a being of creation endowed with virtues that make him different from the other creatures that share this house, our planet earth.

The creativity of man throughout the history of humanity has been evolving towards the achievement of high purposes, an essential tool that we have is the language expressed in oral and written form.

One of the instruments used to express creativity is represented by lyric poetry. Considering this reasoning, I have dared to promote a lyric poetry contest for which fourteen editions have already been presented. Here you can review the winners of the previous editions, additional in this post, I include the results of the fourteenth edition whose key word was fortress and then the call for the fifteenth edition is presented.

Fourteenth edition

For the Fourteenth edition about fortress, my friends

His poetry entitled Fortified Fortress, shows us a synthesis of how throughout our lives we built walls that prevent us from achieving excellence. His final prose summarizes it in a very correct way:

Build me fortress, make me thick
Inner, outward, not timid
An unbroken soul, a strong spirit
A soldier-like body, an immortal being
Victorious in the mind, a fortressed living.

Runner UP 1 SBI : @aurodivys

With the prose "Aunque...". Our friend @aurodivys expresses in the form of poetry her love for her parents and an allegory of her mother's character in the face of her husband's loss. Her final verses express them in an excellent way:

y fue breve su estadía.
