You sponsor me, I sponsor you contest
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Once you are part of the program you receive regular upvotes for your content as your basic income.
My first @steembasicincome share
A couple of weeks ago I received my first share of Steem Basic Income by commenting on a giveaway post by @lennstar. Since then all my content has been upvoted and I received a good income from it. However, since I only have one share, the individual upvotes are still pretty small.
Enlarging my (and your) basic income
Since I'm very excited about the concept of (Steem) basic income I'd like to increase my shares in @steembasicincome and therefore need to find people to sponsor. That is because you can get a share by sponsoring someone else into the program. Both the sponsor and sponsee then receive a share. If you sponsor each other you both receive two shares (for the price of one), which made me come up with the following contest:
You sponsor me, I sponsor you
Lets grow our basic income together! If you sponsor me a share, I will sponsor you as well.
All you have to do is the following:

2: Sponsor me a Steem Basic Income share by transferring 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome with @erikklok in the memo
3: Post a screenshot of the transfer as a comment below
4: I sponsor you and post a screenshot of the transfer as a reply to you

Please note that the maximum number of people I'm able to sponsor is 20. When this number is reached - which would be a huge success - the contest will be closed.

Looks like I first need to save a lot of Steem before I can do so.
Perhaps we should try to buy a sbi Share every few weeks. That way I can save the necessary amount. And we will become shares in all the different sbi poules. Might be interesting to see the reward differences between the poules....

I was wondering what you might call a good income. But I see you are in the top pool receiving a $0.02 upvote for each post. Do you realize that upvote value is a bit higher then the sbi5 where you will get your new shares from?
And I wonder how you will buy 20 shares? I don't see any Steem or SBD in your wallet right now.

$0.02 (0.01 SBD) is not brilliant, but the good thing is that they add up over time. If this increases 40-fold (2 times 20 shares) that would start to make some difference. I did not realize that but you're probably right. It would definitely be a great thing 😀
I'm planning to buy some STEEM with fiat next week and will use that for the shares. Of course a good payout for this post would also help...

On long term the amount of SP in the SBI poules could also increase significantly. Because they earn curation and also a little something for each post.

I hope I can take advantage of the situation and ask a question. Is there a little backlog in adding people that recently bought a share? I think it's about 1 week ago I received or bought 1-2 shares, but it still looks like those shares have not been processed?
I currently have you at 5 shares. Right now we only send confirming transactions on initial enrollment. We will be sending confirmations on each enrollment (or increased enrollment) after automation is ready, but we're still not quite ready yet.
