STEEMIT and Other Plug-Ins is HUGE for the Growth, Development and Maturity of STEEM
We have already seen the democratization of the entertainment industry and the weakening of Hollywood’s control. We’ve seen the rise of independent studios, and smaller platforms like Netflix coming out of nowhere and taking center stage with their original productions, as well as untouchables, such as Harvey Weinstein, finally being held accountable for their actions. All of this spells a huge change in how film and television are being made, and we’re seeing a significant decline in the influence that large, top-down studios have.

Special focus goes into the HardFork Series and how it's being primarily financed/funded by online participation and community engagement on Steemit. A proposal has also been submitted to DASH for additional support. The governance structure of DASH is pretty cool. It's definitely an example worth checking out. Essentially the government structure of the cryptocurrency has built in self-support to accommodate and manage working responsibilities for the growth and development of the currency. It's built in allocated resources of support to self-fund innovation and community out reach programs.

Evan Duffield - the creator of dash....if you can find some interviews with him, it will serve you well. I learned a lot about governance structures from listening to him speak on the matter. Trace Mayer has also highlighted on dash's governance structure at different times. I generally enjoy Trace Mayer's perspective and reflections.

Good to read about Dash. Dash's unique features, however, seem to be driving it towards a dominant position in the market.
