25 Billion USD Valuation on STEEM Protocol - That's not even the Top!
25 Billion USD for the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN social media protocol is chump change. As Developers continue to realize the opportunity to leverage the networking effects of Steem - More and more social media applications get created.
We're very much still in the infancy here and already steemit is a top world wide website.
Everybody knows SMT'S are coming to the network. Stacking value on top of value. It's going to be like the Ethereum for STEEM. With one big difference.....almost none of the erc-20 tokens are actually being used for anything....ethereum blockchain can't currently handle high performance functionality.
Steem is the top performing blockchain, day in and day out.
It makes a lot of sense. It's the blockchain for social media.
Facebook is currently worth about half a Trillion dollars. That's roughly 500 Billion USD.
For Steem to get to a Market Cap of Half a Trillion dollars...it would put the price in the neighborhood of between 1k and 2k per steem. Say with inflation of currency maybe...$1,500.00 USD per STEEM. Sounds wild, I know.
We've been so conditioned into living in a world of debt...where the majority of the population is not considered as part of the Life Protocols here. This is changing. We are the change we've been waiting for...And we're actually communicating the change!
More and more users of facebook ....Individual/Business are recognizing the deceptive practices of Facebook. Accounts being manipulated....shutdown....suppressed...censored....demonetized.
There is not an alignment with incentive between the owners/controllers of Facebook, the users, advertisers and investors. The balance is out of wack. Many former facebook executives have spoken out about the "bad practices" that have emerged as a result of "neglecting to consider the consequences"....and, "Ripping Society Apart"
Facebook is Ripping Apart the Moral Fibres of Society
Part of the success of SMT'S will be in doing air drops....where holders of steem will benefit in the distribution of new smart media tokens...which will have interoperability with Steem.
With individuals/companies creating SMT'S and doing air drops....this will further drive the incentivization for Holding STEEM and locking it up into Steem Power. Smart Media Tokens will have the opportunity to function as like forms of 'dividends' for holding STEEM. That makes STEEM account holdings like a seriously valuable piece of Digital Real Estate.
EOS is being created in the image and likeness of Steem as Digital Real Estate. It just so happens that Social Media is a big part of the basis where people live Online...making one's STEEM Stake...vesting Interest, ever increasing in it's value.

i have been informing people that this will definitely become a reality this year, I've been called an optimist, but my work is an analyst and the numbers never lie :)
The change will be made when the big youtubers arrive. In my opinion. Thinking about getting "Rubius" and promoting steemit on your channel would be a big bang for Spanish-speaking users like me. That sometimes we have to go to the translator to interact with someone. It's a matter of time. A hug and let's go for the 100 USD x Steem. AMEN. : D.
That much valuation means mainstream owns a part of this blockchain. Accounts set up strictly for advertising.

I really do hope so. I'm banking a lot on Steem, but I believe in it. I want to be successful myself so that I can help others around the world be successful. I think that would bring me more joy and give me more hope than working a day job and just spending all of my money on my own bills and that's it. I think blockchain technology really stands a chance of being able to get a lot of people out of poverty.
Yes - having a protocol like STEEM for the internet is a way for people to invest in people. Go figure that we can eradicate poverty throughout the world...by simply regarding and valuing each other with Dignity and Integrity.
We have a global communications network here that's equally technology as it is money....it's incredibly revolutionary...and most people don't even know it exists yet.

Indeed! I'm trying to get more of my friends onboard with Steemit and a lot of people still don't get get it, but I think they will soon. At least it's catching on in other parts of the world than where I live (US).

I like your comparison to the market cap of Facebook... to a $1500 Steem price is a real possibility (wow) but most would balk (100 sounds good to me for now:)) Yet as Bitcoin and Ethereum which have block chain protocols working, and have been the first crypto trend setters they lack the community structure and incentive of Steemit as a Crypto-platform that as you stated so well...bring innovations to the table on a seeming moment to moment basis.

Yes! I was referring to your post that @kuttlefishx said he voted on the comment that asked if Steemopoly sounded better and shared that post idea with me, but never got over to your post to see yet. Then I heard it again when reading @taskmaster4450 post on commenting yesterday, and he used the comment you posted saying you have decided to use the recommended name change, and Task said that that comment got a big time Whale Tail splash by @dan and many others, so as to say, you never know what could happen here on Steem, even leaving a good comment, soooooo..lol with close to a million users and about 70k active, this proves it's still a small steemie world for those that playfully work the platform!
Gosh, didn't we just make a move around the larger board of @Steemopoly just now? What a Synchro Steemisity! Wow...does that sound like a new spontaneous game?

I really, really hope this turns out to be true. I love Steemit and Steem, and I'm definitely investing in it for the future. I like that the more successful you are on here, the more you can help others. That's going to be what drives Steemit, I think. Kindness, generosity, and connection. Or maybe I'm dreaming... Now you are talking. These are all facts that just aren't well known yet. The important thing is that we continue to progress the blockchain and don't let it get corrupted or sidetracked by outside influences. As soon as the big media's feel threatened they will go on the attack. It's important that steemit doesn't get bought out by someone like zuckerberg who could buy it up by himself to prevent its growth.
I mean technically facebook could be a plugged into the steem blockchain...maybe kind of difficult to do....but if zucks wanted too...i'm sure he could get'r done.
I don't really know zuckerburg very well. I've heard didn't rumors....
Maybe the Zucks will surprise us with an push for the formation of of a creative collaboration...making an option for facebook to plug into to decentralized steem....could be kind of cool if facebook turned into a hybrid app of central meets decentral and integrated steem.
One thing is for sure - there's a lot of possibilities :)

Most altcoins are going down right now, unfortunately. That's the way the markets go, but we're still in the very beginning of the blockchain revolution. We're in the dial-up modem and AOL-with-no-web-browsing era of the Internet as far as this goes. It's going to be huge once the world catches up to it.
