This week the working group is finalizing the voting method that will be used in the upcoming election to decide which of the proposals will be chosen as the structure for this community foundation, as well as rolling out a pre registration process. We will be going over the registration a bit more during this weeks town hall and will have a post to follow.

Steem Alliance Community Town Hall

Because we have heard a lot of feedback about confusion between the Steem DAO, Steem Business Alliance and this community foundation, we are trying to take a bit of time to explain each project and how they could work together, rather than work against each other which seems to be a popular misconception.

This week we will be joined by @starkerz from @steemba (Steem Business Alliance) to discuss their project, and how they see the two groups working along side each other to help Steem as a whole. We will open up the floor to questions and discussion on the subject.

Current Structure Design Proposals

We are officially in the third stage and currently have 11 structure proposals that have been brought forward. We will be having each of the teams answer a questionnaire to help the community be able to compare each design. This will be sent out to each team this week and their answers will be gathered in one post here on this blog to ensure it is easy to find.

The goal of this whole process is to get the individuals designing these proposals as much feedback as possible, so these Town halls are designed to open up communication as well as be a place those working on proposals can get feedback and answer questions.

SOS Special Forum on MSP Waves

Thursday March 21st at 9pm-11pm UTC

This week @pennsif will also be running a special forum where each of those submitting structure designs for the foundation will be able to discuss their idea and answer questions;

Following on after 60 Minutes of Steem will be a one-off special of the State of Steem Forums where all 11 teams who have all put forward Foundation proposals to the Steem Alliance will be invited to present their ideas.

The Community's Foundation

The goal of this group is to help the community establish a foundation that will work alongside projects like the Steem DAO and The Steem Business Alliance to push this platform to where we know it can be.

We just have to come together to build it first.
