More Steemit Secrets Just For You !

In our seventh (?), I lost count, installment of Steemit Secrets & Tips we will go over some things that will make your stay here at Steemit a little more profitable. We will also go over the dust threshold on Steemit and a new service that helps make sure you get all the rewards that were intended for you.

Resteem / Bot Services

We went over free resteem bot services in the past in this series but many of them are no longer functioning so I will introduce you to a couple active free services along with some paid ones that give postivie ROI.

Free Bot Services

Free resteem services are getting hard to find but there is still some available for those who know where to look. Below is a list of ones that I have tested and used that are currently still active.

@gasaeightyfive

You can find this Steemians resteem services in the #resteem section of Steemit. They require simple actions like an upvote / follow to use its free services. Once those actions are completed all you need to do is post a link to the post you want resteemed in its most recent active topic and it will get resteemed.

@cribbio

This resteem service allows you to leave a link a day in one of its active topics to get resteemed. All that is required is you give them an upvote / follow.

@ronel

This Steemian offers free resteems regularly. All you need to do is comment the link of the post you want resteemed in one of its active free resteem topics.

@steemblast.com

Steemblast is a free service with the option to give a donation. It don't have many followers ( 125 at present ) but it will resteem your post for free if you choose to use its services. To do so simply remove the [ it ] from [ steemit ] in your browser and replace it with the word blast and click enter. You will get a pop up asking for a donation. Simply exit the pop-up and your post will then be resteemed. Alternately you can opt in to pay the 0.10 donation the pop up asks for.

Paid For Bot Services With Positive ROI

Below is a list of paid for bot services that I use that either give a nice positive ROI or I consider high value for its price. I am sure there are many that I am leaving out but for this series I will only be going over ones I use myself.

@marcocasario

On the top of this list is marcocasario who offers a 30 daily automatic RESTEEM service that comes with a total upvote value of about $0.90. This service currently cost only 0.4 SBD to use. With such a massive return on your ROI this is certainly one of the best bot services on Steemit. The owner is also very active and will answer and address any concerns you may have about their services. You can also cut that 0.4 SBD in half. See @marcocasario comment in the comment section for details.

@gasaeightyfive

Gasaeightyfive makes the list for a second time as not only does this Steemian offer a free resteem service they also offer a tiered paid for service that will resteem your post automatically. Starting at only 0.10 for 15 resteems its hard to pass up this deal. If you rather not pay the 0.10 then the free service is always an option as well.

The Dust Threshold

First lets go over what the dust threshold is. Steemit only pays out rewards on post and comments that have reached at least $0.02 cents. So any post or comment that you make that don't reach this amount does not get paid to you. Not to worry I am here to tell you how to make sure you are getting the maximum amount of rewards that were intended for you. Two initiatives have been started @dustsweeper and @dustbunny. I will give a brief detail of each below.

@dustsweeper

This service will sweep upvote your comments ( that have rewards attached to them ) on the 5th/6th day and upvote it above the $0.02 threshold so you get to collect all the rewards that were intended for you. This initiative was started by @davemccoy and @danielsaori. To use this service you have to send some SBD to the @dustsweeper account via your wallet. For every 1 SBD you send you get $2 added to your dustsweeper account balance.

@dustbunny

This is a new service created by @fraenk. This service is free to use but you must apply to use its services. Users of this service can choose to delagate a small amount of SP ( Not Mandatory For Use ) and doing so will give you a better chance of saving some dust and collecting those rewards that were intended for you. To apply to @dustbunny visit their blog and latest topics.

Steem-Monsters

The hot new topic on the Steem blockchain and media sites is Steem-Monsters and I am here to tell you how you can earn some guaranteed return on a small $10 investment. If you're not sure what Steem-Monsters is here is a basic over-view : It's a digital card game in which you own the digital cards in your account. These cards are a form of cryptocurrency. You will be able to use these cards to play in the upcoming daily $100 freeroll and $1000 weekly freeroll tournaments that are scheduled.

Getting started in this game cost $10 but you can easily earn that back in about 5 days. Currently the Steem-Monsters team are offering a free daily booster ( $2 value ) for winning 10 Steem-Monsters battles a day. This means that in 5 days you would have already earned your invested amount back in rewards. Even if you choose not to keep the booster pack yourself you can opt in to selling them to someone else and in no time be making a daily profit from those sales.

That's it for this installement of Steemit Tips & Tricks. Keep an eye out as I plan on revising the series to provide more up to date information that will be sure to make your stay here on the blockchain more enjoyable !

Nice post to help out the Newbies!

Wow, thanks a lot for the great review @rentmoney! =]

To thank you for it I just sent you a bid bot upvote from @infinitybot and @alfanso.

Just a little note: I had to increase the price of my service from 0.2 to 0.4 after the hf20 (in order to be able to keep delegating to others and to keep my daily voting power stable).
The cost of my service though can still be only about 0.2 SBD/Steem if the subscriber:

  • gets referred from someone else ($~0.1 returned through bid bot upvote)
  • opts-in for my comments on his resteemed+upvoted posts (additional $~0.1 returned through bid bot upvote)
    My comments simply contain a brief explanation of my service and the subscriber's remaining balance. These can then freely be turned off simply replying OFF.

Transfer memo example: "subscribe via @rentmoney + comments".

( The referrer also gets a $~0.10 bid bot upvote so feel free to spread the word! =] )

Thanks again! ย  =]

This is an awesome service. Thanks for creating it.

Good tips @rentmoney. I'm always interested in what you are doing. Seems SteemMonsters is big with you right now. I guess I should pay attention and get more into it.

You should, I been trying to inform those I interact with the most about it. Currently there is gntd short term profits for anyone who purchases the starter pack and starts earning daily free boosters. It only takes 5 days to get your investment back in rewards. I invested a decent chunk already so I am a hodler but for those looking for short term profits then SM pays more then posting does. Earn the daily pack, Sell for $1.50 - $1.80 .. rinse and repeat everyday until its no longer offered.

These are great tips. Steem Monsters is great.

Thanks, I am happy you found them useful.

I have always wondered why i lose the 0.01$ rewards now this clears it up

Every upvote you place also diminishes your vote value. Your value increases back to normal once some time passes.

no i meant author rewards

and yeah i keep track on steemd

Rentmoney, revealing Steemit secrets one at a time :) Really good tips here!!

Thanks...

Dustsweeper is upvote bot or what?

Posted using Partiko Android

Dustsweeper uses the funds you sent it to upvote your comments that have already been upvoted but haven't reached the 0.02 threshold yet.

Upvote comment with profit or just I will get what I paid amount?

Posted using Partiko Android

@dustsweeper wasn't meant so people can make a profit from its upvote. It's design is to help you get rewards that were intended for you that would of otherwise get turned to dust.

That being said, I don't have the raw numbers but I believe that you do get some profit from its upvote but most importantly you get the added rewards that were below the 0.02 dust threshold on top of the upvote dusty provides. So even if you break even from the upvote provided from dusty you are still profiting. Dusty has known to get overed worked because its used by so many so it does miss some comments.
