Steemit seams to be working again and I'm pumped! But I still want to leave a review of Busy.org and some suggestions.
So while steemit was having it's little hiccup, I started to experiment with busy.org. It is actually pretty good, I bet if I was forced to spend a bit more time there I would have grown to prefer it, but I'm back to steemit and loving it.
I'm just much more comfortable and natural with it. It's not perfect, but I'm willing to go along with it and hope it gets all fixed up perfectly. Maybe someone will take notice to the good features of busy and incorporate some changes. Incase anyone important ever looks at my blog I am also giving my own suggestions, which I'm sure are pretty much the same as everyone else's.
BUSY.ORG
A lot of the feed navigation seams to very similar to the new changes from steemit, which make me think they are taking notice and maybe we'll see some of the other features come over as well.
The main nuts and bolts are very similar with most of the same buttons and menus, so it is very intuitive to make the switch.
It has two great features shown here on the profile page that I really wish steemit would incorporate.
First it has your posts and your reblogs/resteems sorted in different headings, this is great for the people who are reluctant to resteem since it really clutters up your feed. I think this simple change would lead the way to more bigger accounts sharing more minnows posts, I'm a bit ashamed to admit it but I know it would certainly make a big difference for me.
The second really great feature is that it shows your voting power right there on the page, so no third party sites, apps or plug ins to take a look.
The second great thing about it is the way the voting is laid out. I hear that everyone gets a slider there right from the start. I can't confirm this since I already had one, but that would be a pretty cool feature.
You can also expand the box of the people that voted on your to see everyone, it doesn't just show the first 8 or whatever it is on steemit. It also shows what percentage of vote they cast for you. This is a great quick check and once again eliminates the need for a third part site/app.
This is the last feature I really really like from busy. Is that there is a confirmation screen when you send transfers. It also shows the icon that that user uses for a quick confirmation. This would really help with sending transaction to misspelled accounts.
One of my complaints comes now, in that after you send the transfer your stuck on an external confirmation screen and you need to click back twice to get back to busy.org (big complaint eh).
Busy also seams to have a message features that I never started using, I know early on I really wished steemit had some sort of embedded messenger, but now that I'm on discord I am really loving the layout and community over there so this is no longer important to me.
Cons
Overall it's really slick, but I do have a few minor complaints.
I wish it had a preview when you are making posts. I always second guess my mark ups and formatting and it's nice to be able to give it a quick look down below.
I don't like the thumbs up voting thing. Mostly since I'm new there, I sometimes find myself unvoting and revoting posts, thus wasting valuable voting power. Steemit gives you a warning about unvoting and I wish this did too.
The last complaint is that there is no comments tab so I can have a quick peek at my comments. I don't use this often but do like it to be available.
My feedback about both
There is one feature I would really like to see on busy or steemit that would really be the deal maker for me and that is some sort of mentions tab. I really wish there was a better way to keep track of when you are mentioned in other peoples posts. This would be great and I think it would lead to more interaction as well.
I can't say I'm much of an expert at this stuff, but I certainly do have one serious steemit addiction and I do hope to see it continue to stabilize and hopefully incorporate some changes.
I would also like to apologize for my nauseating positivity, I should really be ranting about how long it took to fix and the fact so little changes have been make with the minor layout tweak recently, but I'm still hopeful for some exciting changes coming. I am also staying positive about the buying opportunity this presented with the value of steem dropping so low during all the troubles.

Glad to see another good post.
Thanks for the write up. Busy has not allowed me to log in so far.
So good to read a review.
Awesome post, I know that with the new Chome extension you can see the vote weightings as well, as I also prefer Steemit.com over Busy.org.
I also see that since I use the extension and the new Steemit layout, my posts are temporarily saved (like a draft) , which is great in cases of a buggy or problematic connection.
Beep! Beep! This humvee will be patrolling by and assisting new veterans, retirees, and military members here on steemit. @shadow3scalpel will help by upvoting posts from a list of members maintained by @chairborne and responding to any questions replied to this comment.
There is some beta testing happening for the next version of busy.org and it includes some of the things you mentioned like being able to preview your post. If you are interested there are more details here:

I use both and have been trying to contribute to the improvement for both interfaces, so I thought it would be good for next time there is an outage on steemit.com and steemitstage.com anyway :p
Was thoroughly not expecting humour thus nearly choked on my water when I got to this bit XD
I really like busy for all the reasons mentioned as well, the only real annoyance I've had with it is that sometimes when I'm typing a comment it clears the message box (probably finishing loading an associated script or something), I give most things some leeway because I have an annoying browser setup. I thought it was supposed to have a live preview, did it not work for you either? As I thought it didn't work for me due to aforementioned annoying browser setup. I also like the ability to star things though the apparent limit of 20 is annoying.
Would love for everything to be wrapped up in non-fixed width responsive prettiness so I didn't have to keep switching between the two depending on what I want to do at the time XD

Yeah preview seems to be the #1 complaint so hope this is their top priority.
I would like to see a messenger on both, and a notification when someone tags you in something. Do you know the third party site that helps with this?
For the first day when i got approved it was laggy.. that was two days ago.:) but today and yesterday it works perfectly 😀
