This week we have 2 new graduate and 1 new redfish. welcome @drippingdrizzles on your first week of the league. I wish each and every one of you success in growing your account on Steem. The aim of this challenge is to grow your own SP to 500.

Redfish Power UP League
Every Wednesday I will be connecting to the SteemSQL database managed by @arcange and gathering details on the Owned SP for each person in the league.The current weekly owned SP will be compared to the SP held when the person joined the league and the average weekly % SP growth will be calculated. The person with the highest % weekly SP growth will be on top of the league.

Haha, I don't know I didn't join actually.. I don't have big SP dolphin aspirations... After my minnow graduation I went rogue and began my powerdown..
I have another precedent I'm trying to set besides the mobilizesteem movement and my case study in organic steeming. I'm now investigating the psychology that earning actual money by powering down to build other assets or buy a sandwich is considered dissent here. The dream that's sold I'd get paid to create content, however if the emphasis of the ecosystem only supports holding SP we have yet another major flaw. I should be celebrated for organically turning my steem rewards into something that puts food on the table. That's not the case here though, considering also that curators earn SP and cannot choose to split their earnings like with content creation I'm beyond skeptical of the entire premise of steem. 50% curation automatically locked into the absurd 13 week power down reeks of dirty words I won't use. I'll only say steem a is pay to play game and if you don't pay your piece is removed. If you do pay and don't play nice you will be ostracized. If you pay and game the system like an intelligent person should you will be condemned, unless of course you're someone like at theycallmedan, he can post cats sleeping and not be flagged by new steem initiatives because they need his future free flags to govern the rigged and failed system...
I could post about this stuff and cite examples but it's a waste of my time because I've already been labeled a dissenter..
Edit I'm aware Dan didn't self vote but I saw flags given to similar content and the comment left was "this post adds no value to anyone" which is first an opinion, and second untrue. I was earning from curating before the self upvotes, I earn less now because the steem police are fighting in futility with bullshit reasoning and fallacious logic..
The original poster and large stakeholder was adding value to himself, plus it was a cute picture of a dog. It gave meaning to my existence.. This self righteous soap Opera is a joke and I'll continue to be that guy in the internet not buying the bullshit..

Many use palnet now for voting and posting instead of steemit. I think that is smarter.
If it comes to the money I think it's better to be on a Dutch site again. If I do so daily I have at least 10 a month, here not in a year.
I do promote steel (there is more as steemit) but find it hard to explain to a writer/blogger why he/she is not allowed to post. It does not make sense.
It indeed it an expensive game.

Yes, people are so accustomed to the ass kissing everything is great posts that can pay that when I talk I'm told I'm always negative or never have anything good to say.
That's not true, we just don't need another cheerleader here and idgaf about the pennies so I give my perspectives.. Which ultimately would save this place, sips tea... Anyway, as you know I make 100s of comments a week and the majority of them are kind compassionate, even intimate as I consider many like yourself friends. That's priceless and I'll never leave steem for that alone. It's a shame that people are so emotionally tied to their fantasy that they will only see or remember my cursing antagonistic prose. I'm much more than that, but, since I'm not shilling for them they don't see my posts talking about symbiosis and love. They only see what they project, my piss and vinegar, I reciprocate what I get. You give me snarky comments that praise the almighty steem and your 1st world experience I'll shit all over it just to be the balance..

Many came here to get rich in short time. STEEM(it) is still promoted in that way. I see it on Twitter where they join #seven77. They say it is their income, pays well, do their shopping from it etc.
If I ask how they managed to do it I get no answer.
It is fine to promote it, tell about the diversity, there is a lot to read, learn, discover but I will never say to quit the job for this.
I spent many hours a day here, comment and read, answer. Like you said it takes lots of time.
Honest people are needed to promote steem but also to tell what the bottlenecks are. And there are plenty of them. If you know what you are dealing with it makes it easier to stay here. I think there are more unused profiles as used ones.
I like your writing style so do not give up on it. There are already enough boring articles no one can read (many keep up appearances and vote because the hope to be discovered by...)
I do not read any negativity in your blogs or comments, I think you manage to ad a humouristic note in it. If people cannot see or understand what you write about, prefer to stay blind, it is their choice/problem.

So you powered up. I think I keep doing it the way I do now. The only thing I changed for one or two weeks was each post 100% power up instead 50/50.
You did well and know how to powerup (it still partly beats me).

In two days I am one year in esteemit.
I achieved my goal of 200 SP and I am happy for that. I think the next step is to join this wonderful league.
so I want to be inside to learn more.
