Your freedom of expression platform is here and it is on a blockchain

Yes, it is amazing is it not? Steem is different, it is almost like written in stone, in it's digital form called a Blockchain. And it just got forked hard. Do not worry if you do not get that though. All that you need to know is that you can sign up and get payed some Steem Power for doing so. Does it end there?

NO! It gets even better, because for your original posts you can get rewarded. Steem is also Smart Cash, like Bitcoin and many others, that's why you have got a wallet in your account. And it may take a while before you get the grasp of the whole realm that is Steem. In the meantime you can just post, go ahead, express yourself! You'll notice that there is a huge community that will help you on your way and soon you'll be talking Blockchain at parties as if it were your second nature!

Amazing? Yes, if you do get the grasp of how it is constructed you'll stand back in awe. But you do not even need to be a Crypto geek, nor a Mathematical wizzard, you just have to be you, expressing yourself. If you are a blogger, then you fit in, a writer of books, this is your platform, a photographer, painter, musician or sculptor, expose your craft to a huge audience, maybe sell that one piece.

Share your views, exchange your thoughts and maybe not even for the upvotes, nor the potential payout, but because you can, here at Steem.

Steem 'n Roll!

I did a recruiting post for my FB & Twitter friends, literally tagging 20 friends who have a tiny chance of joining because they're curious & smart. Guess how many likes I've had? ONE. Only one acknowledgment on FB. SMH.

It is still pioneers work, I think. Most here can still be seen as early adaptors in a sense I guess. Getting friends directly over from the other platforms can become a bit daunting.

What I do is indirect promoting by sharing posts. Some come over and read I heard. Things like: "It's all English", are a signal for improvement. So an interface in my native language would be good, for instance.

There will be a turning point at some moment in time, after that account growth will become exponential. If it manages to reach a certain threshold, that could take years.

Only recently talking about Bitcoin gets more than an stare in the distance as a response. (Finally I am heard at parties, hahaha, took me years.)

Although I did my best to get others to Steem, I also know that currently it is better, for me, to just promote it. Make the brand known. Spread the word. And so on.

Getting others in from other platform is a tough job. Almost like asking them to change their brand of coffee. Or stop drinking coffee and replace it for freshly made fruitdrinks.

There is still room for improvement and to find the sweet spot of those who are in the cusp of joining.

It's a days job but someone has to do it. ;-)

Hear hear for the steem train!!!
