Will steem drop down to $3 again? It looks like it is in a downtrend for some reason. I don't understand why it is so cheap. It seems strange to me why more people on here don't buy it up.

There are not as many people here as we think. Very low volume . Someone is pushing the price down because of the low volume . Funny thing is right after 20k new accounts were added in last 24 hours or so is when price dips. We are 11,137 away from a million registered accounts but I would guess only 10% of that is active accounts .
Excellent points. You should upvote yourself because if I solo upvote it is below the earnings threshold.
We do have a lot of trouble with user retention on the steem blockchain. I think it is getting a little better but hard to say. We might be at $10 now if we had 20% retention.

No. It's hard to buy crypto. 20/20 hindsight I probably should have taken out a loan and bought like 5,000 when it hit $2. lol

What is a bounty exactly?
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.

As I see, all crypto-currencies are seeing some downfall now-a-days. This could be because many countries are not considering it as a legal token. Steem could be the one getting affected because of this.
I guess the price movement of STEEM is still very unpredictable. Until people start buying this crypto-currency more, we won't see high growth. Although, looking at figures at Coin Market I see that trading volume is pretty high, which is not bad at all.
Yeah I think we do have some HODLers but I think we need more traders.
