To start with, I was inspired by @whatsup for this post, via her latest publication. This ain't gonna be a long, detailed, probably boring post too...I'll keep it simple and to the point. Oh...and short.

Lately I like to spend some time in discord channels, where I can have a talk but mainly fun with people I like, in real time. I urge you to visit some of the famous channels and see for yourself...I promise you, you'll feel brand new after a while...

So, after a while, I often get the very same question...

"I am trying to think of something interesting to write about tonight, but I can't come up with anything at all...any suggestions?"

My response is always the same...like always : "Why don't you publish something funny?"

Now you obviously think that it's the easiest of all solutions, right? WRONG. Let's be honest for a moment shall we? We blog / vlog, in a social media platform aren't we? And what attracts people in the top notch apps like FB Twitter and Instagram just to name a few, is the "freedom" to express themselves in a few lines but most importantly , to have fun.

Are we having fun yet?

What I love most in Steem is the comment section of each post. And that's because people also feel free to express themselves just in a few lines, and most of the times they drop some hilarious comments, that may spark a domino of great lines...one after another.

Do you really think that we will onboard the masses if we don't add "fun" posts in our daily schedule? We won't...

You know the drill...more user --> higher daily activity -->increased demand for steem for higher influence on the platform --> higher steem price.

People in real world have way too many things to worry about. Therefor I think that we should loosen the strings a little and enjoy our time here.

I ain't suggestion that the platform should turn into a circus...

I have a vision that Steem could turn into the World's biggest library, where everyone will be a click away form scientific articles, to porn, to funny stuff, to philosophy...you name it.

Or maybe you think that it's an easy process to write a funny post. The last great funny posts I remember were published under the @comedyopenmic tag...and I have to tell you I miss those days...Maybe you should also check @smasssh's blog if you are looking for some fun and learn a thing or two regarding how a proper funny post should look like.

What I am trying to say is: Be careful to not get lost while searching for quality...only.
