Besides that, I totally agree with having/making fun can make a difference for a lot of people. Personally, if I have the choice between getting funny comments OR big upvotes, I'd rather have a lot of fun. Because that makes me more motivated to do my best to write another one.
It's a bit of a shame actually to see other posts with (mostly) automated and high upvotes but hardly any comments/engagement. This will surely will not bring in the so-called masses, standing on their chairs and doing the Wave.
And what's even more disappointing are those who HAVE (some) comments on their posts, but hardly or don't reply at all.
I wish I knew why...I love engagement more than anything.
Man, I am telling you...you are holding the banner. I am sure that as the time goes by and price goes up more and more people will feel more relaxed and start posting funny stuff. Apparently, everyone is doing their best to be noticed at the time, hence the overall seriousness.
The is a different between a quality/humorous post and a trashy one. And you definitely fall in the the first group
