Testing some of the SP delegation services...

in #steemlast year

I delegated 50k SP to @avle yesterday but received no upvote

I will be testing several of the upvote delegation services on steemit to see which ones really are the best.

I delegated 50k sp yesterday to @avle as they seem to be claiming they can do better than everyone else, but it did not get off to a very good start...

It turns out you don't get your upvote the first day you delegate to the project.

That was a surprise to me because when I delegated to @upex and @nixiee they upvoted my post that very same day, no lost time or lost earnings for users.

Now that I delegated to @avle I got no earnings on my delegation for the day, a wasted day for anyone delegating that will need to be factored in when comparing.

I believe upvu is the same, you lose a day of earnings when you delegate to upvu.

I will further update as far as returns go as things progress.

I already replied to your comment, but I'll repeat my point here so that others could be informed. So, please bear with me.

As for losing earnings, you might want to think about this:

If you delegate SP to @avle or @jsup for 1 year(365 days) and write a post everyday, you will get 364 upvotes for sure. And if you undelegate, you will get un upvote for that day too, because your undelegation will take effect after midnight.

How many upvotes would you receive when you have to separate your posts at least 24 hours apart(as upex or nixiee requires)? I'm not sure it's 365. I don't know exactly, but maybe you should write your post around the same time every day.

Couple things here... @upex says they will be changing to a fixed start and end time each day, so your comparison doesn't really work for a year like you mentioned. Also, where are the overdelegation rewards? It looks like users who have higher delegations are losing out big time by using your service.

My comparison won't work "after" they do what they said. Let's see how it goes.

There is no over-delegation compensation in @avle and @jsup service. If you want to maximize your profit, you have no reason to over-delegate. I'd say splitting delegations to multiple services is way better than over-delegation to one service.

There are a few over-delegation to both @avle and @jsup, but they did it because they decided to support/boost other delegators' rewards in the first place.

@jsup was designed specifically to share delegation to support others(family members, friends, or your favorite authors) via beneficiary function.

The purpose of @avle is to accumulate its own SP to try new projects to promote STEEM value, and ownership of @avle's SP will be shared by delegators(I'm currently developing a program to calculate ownership percentage).

If your primary goal is maximum profit right now, these services might not be attractive enough for you.

nixiee can receive upvotes 365 times a year.
Nixiee provides upvotes any time during the 24 hours based on the time the bot is running.
Users can check the 24-hour countdown through nixiee's official website.

Therefore, users can write posts and receive upvotes at any time during the countdown.
This system is not a system that requires posting after 24 hours of writing a post.

I see. If that's the case, it's definitely better than 24-hour separation between posts.

😑😑😞 es algo normal, mantente activo.

Well as I described above, @upex and @nixiee both upvote immediately after delegating, so I wouldn't say it's normal.

Hello. I can't understand why I should delegate to someone, although I understand when a big sp. then there are interest rates, for example, 15-20 per annum, and is it not easier to get curatorial ones by voting for other people ???

You can get much better returns on your SP by delegating to an upvote service and posting, especially when/if SBDs start printing again. @upex looks interesting to me when that happens...

Yes, I agree. The question of when SBD will be started is not known. For example, as with TRX. Everything is covered in darkness. Either they pay or they don't. There is no trust. Especially since I have a small SP. I get more on curating than if I delegated to someone.

Well it's not really trust in regards to SBDs... it is hardcoded into the network that SBDs can only print when the debt ratio is below 10%. Based on my math, the debt ratio drops below 10% when the price of STEEM is roughly $.255 or higher... so we are close to SBDs printing again.

I don't have any trust anymore. I know that you are here from the beginning. I, too, have been sitting here for over a year. And how do you feel about when the platform was launched and there was information on the white list that the program was designed for 18 years and was created to test bots, to play on the stock exchange. This information has since been removed.

I have tested all of them. I think @justyy paid the best. Even better than @upex. But I think I do much better from curation. Especially if you curate the biggest earners at the 4 minute mark.

What do the numbers look like? How much sp are you able to get from curation that way?

I did a test with 500 Delegation to upex …. I was getting 1 upvote per day .. 6 cents … so 3 cents to me… with my curation alone I get 10 cents per day … so I do better with curation at 4 minutes on posts that get big rewards.

If you scale that up to 50,000 Steem delegation you get $3 a day … versus $10 a day from my Curation.

So I need to buy 50,000 Steem and just do manual curation of a few accounts each day.

I wonder though, will the results scale all the way up?

Plus if SBDs start printing this would dramatically change the numbers...

I will do lots of tests to see how it works. But so far I am finding pure curation is the best.m

!thumbsup Thank you for your support.
