OpenBazaar and Steem - SteemIT 2.0 ?
Howdy Steemers.
If you haven't heard there's another emerging platform that looks to be the next future decentralized eBay.

The team has created a great platform that's easily to get a store up and running without the barriers and costs of a 3rd party like Shopify or eBay.
Do you like hot sauce? Do you like art? How can someone take the curation and editorial power of SteemIT and add a commerce platform or storefront (Optional of course)
There are even tools like:
BazzarHound for Android - Search for products and stores on your phone. (Would you like to see a review of it?)
AND: You can get your store running easily on your local computer or even a host like AWS or Vultr.
Now, here's the proposal:
Merge the OpenBazaar platform for purchases with Steem to create a true open decentralized commerce platform (TODCP) that uses "Steem" as its currency via Bitcoin. So you could purchase glass bead necklaces through @craig-grant store or even some @dragonho art or stories.
What do you think OpenBazaar Plug-in for SteemIT ?

Unfortunately on my Mac I always have big issues to connect to their server, so often I can't even use it :-\
Hi @andrew0 . Do you have the latest version? Also, a hosted solution (by yourself via $4/month VPS) or hosting provider like https://agoristhosting.com/#pricing might be a good way to go. There are cheaper ones too. Thanks for the reply. Let me know when you get your store up.
Yes, later version, always open it in Developer mode to try understand what happens.
