Doubling up on STEEM!
I copied the title from @vlemon 's post of powering up. "Doubling up on STEEM! Reasons and thoughts."
Like many, I hold the view that Steem is close to a turn around point where the price will begin to rise again. Mainly with all of the apps and opportunities being built on the Steem network. To take advantage of the low price, the best I could do is to buy as much while I can.
So, I've decided to set up a continuous power up scheme. Regardless of the price, I will purchase STEEM for selfish Power Up purposes on a 10 day basis.
This is the proof of my most recent power up. Total Power up: SP 520.
Why not buy some STEEM while its low?

1 Steem is currently (2019.08.15, 20:00 CEST) worth $0.172866 USD.
100 Steem would currently cost only $17.2866 USD.
I will be buying some steem over the next few weeks as soon as coinbase allows me to transfer my bitcoin into steem. I really need to find a better source to buy steem with though, I am tired of waiting up to 20 days after I deposit funds.
It won't be much, maybe 300-400 steem but it's better then nothing. other then that I am going to have to earn my steem the old fashion way.
I just hope I am able to pull this all off before steem head back up.
300 to 400 Steem is a respectable investment.
The way that I see is that buying into Steem allows you earn MORE STEEM, MORE QUICKLY the old fashion way, curating and posting.
People seem to follow and comment more on posts when they see your vote is worth more than $ .03.
I use the CEX.io Exchange which has been very reliable and has Fiat support. Credita Cards and Bank transfers support.

I am not worried about steem price dropping. Steem is the only one cryptocurrecny have great potential. when you using steemit blogging you will get more kind benefit. So no lose for using steem blogging.
I think the price has dropped due to many external pressures. Mainly from the government statist and bank attacks on cryptocurrencies in general.
Yes, THERE IS VALUE here. I only hope to add to that value.

Howdy sir deepwaters! I hope you're right, it would make alot of us look like geniuses! lol. Are you saying that the CEX.io Exchange takes credit cards? Is there a certain type that they take? I haven't heard of them.
CEX.io is based out of the UK. Yes, they accept cards and Bank Transfers (also to exchange crypto to fiat). They are worth a visit. For the Fiat support though, they ask to verify your ID with a photo ID. This is fairly common now for exchanges. I did not mind it.
Howdy tonight sir deepwaters! yeah the last few exchanges I joined they wanted photo ID, email confirmation, proof of residence document, phone number and a selfie showing me holding the photo ID with a sign with the date and the name of the exchange written on it. I thought it was a little much.

Good for you to power up, @deepwaters. I cannot afford it, but I blog like crazy now since my sp grows faster when prices are low. I believe in STEEM and think all sp will help me over time
