[Steem talk] Frying dragon

Wait? Wtf? Frying? Was it supposed to be flying? You bloody Chinese fool. Indeed I am referring to fry, as in putting in to boiling oil and fry! Got this from old school retro movie Karate Kid.

Steem is like a very talented dragon all these while, but what I learn is, people are frying it all day long. I am not an investor as said, but I'm the one who invested time and my strength writing, blogging, playing, singing and even acting in the blockchain under different dApp.

What I fail to understand is, how can people still fail to see the importance of preserving these precious commodities. I've seen wonderful promotion video of people shouting out loud how profitable it is in Steem block chain, but many still fail to bring in investors.

In the end, majority of these promotional video brought in yet another person who is looking forward to earn a fortune by snapping a horrible, meaningless street photo. And guess what happened? They ran out of RC, rant a little and left the platform for good. An idle account is another burden to the blockchain.

What worst I've seen, people like me who earned Steem, started to delegate everything into upvote bots. Come on guys, if you delegated all out, he delegated all out, everybody delegate to bot, who else is upvoting on good article? I'm not saying investing is wrong, but come on, can't we be fair to each other? We took it from the community, we give it back to the community, sound fair enough?

I feel thankful for all my supporters, the community who have been looking after my nasty ass. Let's not fry the dragon anymore. Give it room to breath, let it grow and let it fly. Stop being selfish, and start upvoting the people you care. If you don't care any of those people who create content, you don't care about the dragon and once again you put Steem into the boiling oil and start frying it. Can we stop telling people all the time how easy money it is in Steem blockchain? Steem is asset, we all put down our hard work to earn the asset. It's not money. It will come to a point when it is becoming real money, that's when we decided to sell our asset for Fiat. By promoting Steem like a get rich quick will only do more harm to the system. Aren't we all the time complaining there's not enough content consumer? And yet those promotion video has been encouraging more content creator than consumer.

Pickup the responsibility and start acting like you really care about the platform. Even if we haven't invest anything into it, we can stop the bleeding by not taking too much out of it. I don't know whether you care, but I'm sure I do. 2/3 of my SP is still around ready to upvote and support good content. Let's get down to business. Reward those who once like me. We not only create content, we consume them and reward the author. Let us all make the dragon great again. In Steem, we trust. This is the chain of opportunity!
