“Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain-Based Finance” - by Paul I. Huse

The blockchain opens new horizons for AI, both as a problem domain that can be modelled, and as a medium for an AI to exist or operate in. The openness that blockchain-based finance is based upon creates new possibilities for democratized trading AI, as access to high-grade data no longer becomes costly, and interaction with the markets directly becomes easier than ever. Meanwhile, the possibility of building AI agents operating on or in the blockchain itself is quite exciting, offering new approaches to AI problems, and possibilities for new ways of creating intelligence.

Paul I. Huse is the co-founder of Enin, a startup developing deep-learning based news analysis for the financial markets.

“On CryptoFinance” by Christian Lains

The exponential advance of information-technology leads to the digitization of everything - the internet of everything. Bitcoin was a giant step in digitizing coins, moving us towards the internet of money. Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology will tend towards a global, frictionless web of value. This internet of value is the “blood” of the internet of everything, ultimately responsible for predicting and allocating resources for global attention, processing and action. In this presentation I make the case that cryptofinance is the core of fintech, driving this evolution.

I'll bring my boat, in case someone wants free accomodation in walking distance from the venue (and 4 minutes walk from the train station) ... though, there is no land power there and my diesel heater is broken, so it will be chilly. (I hope to have the heater fixed before the weekend, but the time is running out fast).

Awesome offer :D

diesel heater has been delivered to service now, it will hopefully be fixed within tomorrow :-)

I will definitely join the live streaming session, too bad I've moved away from Norway.

Absolutely, stay tuned for that!

Good info.
