How are referrals to Steem rewarded?
Upon trying to login to busy.org I found the following link:
https://signup.steemit.com/?ref=busy
It is a referral link.
Are referrals to Steem being rewarded?
If so, how are referrals to Steem being rewarded?
Are they acknowledged on the blockchain, or is it only an internal steemit issue?
I never saw any mention of an account's referral anywhere.
I also never saw anything that I thought to be a reward for referring a new user to Steem.
Later another thought crossed my mind:
Is it possible that only a few users are authorized to be referrals?
I assume that a referral is not the same as an instant account creator, which pays the initial vested Steem.
Is this initial vested Steem the same as account creation fee?
Just pondering.
The ref parameter is used by Steemit for analytical purposes, however Busy is not rewarded in any way for doing this
