They have found me.
I tried to lay low, to keep under the radar, being invisible and scrambling all my activities. But it is not easy to hack into the system of the most powerful company in the world without leaving a trace to follow.
That damned bot somehow tracked me down and now there is only one option left, I need to vanish completely before they localize my position.
At the start, i thought the hints are mere rumors.
Meanwhile, iam sure that he exists. Every time when I get real close, I somehow lose track. The holy private key is no fantasy, he really exists and god help us all if he falls into the wrong hands.
Nobody knows who currently owns it, or how far his power reaches. I follow his tracks for quite a while now, but the UserID of his owner is encrypted in a way I have never seen before.
I will tell you the whole story.
Beginning with the moment when this damned Aristocrat entered the shabby hotel room with the crooked sign on the door and said: "Are you Langdon Bennett?"

Sie haben mich gefunden.
Ich habe versucht, mich unter ihrem Radar zu bewegen, unsichtbar zu bleiben, und meine Aktivitäten zu verschlüsseln. Doch es ist nicht einfach, sich in das System der mächtigsten Firma der Welt zu hacken, ohne Spuren zu hinterlassen.
Dieser verdammte Bot hat mich aufgespürt und jetzt bleibt mir nur noch eins, ich muss von der Bildfläche verschwinden, bevor sie mich lokalisieren.
Anfangs hielt ich die Hinweise nur für ein Gerücht.
Inzwischen bin ich mir sicher, er existiert. Immer wenn ich kurz davor bin ihn zu finden, verliert sich jede Spur. Der holy privat key ist kein Hirngespinst, es gibt ihn wirklich und Gott sei uns gnädig, wenn er in die falschen Hände gelangt.
Niemand weiß, wer ihn gerade besitzt oder wie weit seine Macht reicht. Ich verfolge seine Spur seit geraumer Zeit, doch die UserID seines Besitzers ist besser verschlüsselt als Fort Knox.
Ich werde dir die ganze Geschichte erzählen.
Von dem Moment an, als der verdammte Aristokrat die muffige Absteige mit dem schief hängenden Schild an der Tür betrat und mit süffisanter Stimme fragte »Sind Sie Langdon Bennett?«
Folge mir und werde Teil der Bewegung, finde heraus, welches Geheimnis sich hinter dem holy privat key verbirgt und tauche ein in die Welt von STEEMPUNK-NET.

I have made a start on reading this storyline, at last. I'm a latecomer to the world of Steempunk.net, and this Introduction is already 10 months old, but I intend to read through the whole story, to learn more about the setting of the game. I'll be leaving comments as I go.
The Holy Private Key sounds all very mysterious! I assume that the way you have written this isn't just a feature of the translation from German to English language, but that there really is some confusion over whether the HPK is in fact a person as such, and not just an inanimate object. Maybe the HPK is both, like an android. I look forward to discovering more, as I continue to read this storyline.
