AskSteemit: How many Steem related chats are you in?
Not many crypto projects look at the amount of different discord servers or slacks that exist around their currency as it's not the best measure of activity and popularity, but since we are on a social media platform and being social is a big part of it I thought I'd ask this question to see how involved you guys are and maybe we can hear about a few servers some of us may have missed and would love to be in.
Now I'm not asking you guys to name all of them but if you can quickly give a count for all the discord servers you are in that are somehow related to Steem or were created cause of Steemians coming together then reply with a comment to this post about the amount and which ones your favorites are where you spend most of your time on.
I am in 28 discord servers and this is after leaving some regularly as I realized I don't look into them ever. The servers I use and read the most nowadays are OCD, Steem Onboarding, PAL, Steem Alliance and then a small one which there are only a few Steemians in where we mainly just talk shit. :D
Then there are two-three slacks, steem.chat + telegram.
I'm on about 5 regular.. SSG and canna-curate are my favorites tho
I am in 26 discord servers total. Out of those, only four are for things outside the Steem ecosystem, but they are all crypto-related.
Out of the remaining 22, I would say 10 of them are official Steem project servers or large communities. I am not really super active in any of them. There are a few dead ones as well that I like to keep around because I am a hoarder I guess? They get dragged to the bottom of the list.
I don't use steem.chat much these days, even though it is where I met a lot of my people; it is just so unusable on mobile which is where I spend a lot of my time now. I'm not on Slack, and I was on Telegram for a while but I couldn't handle the incessant spam anymore. Discord is pretty much the place.
lol, I'm in 68 Discord servers hahaha Each one of them is realted to STEEM but lately, I am reading/active in Ongame.io, Vimm - Live Streaming, SteemGamingCommunity, OCD, SteemSTEM, PAL and Fundition.
These are the ones that I visit daily but I also check others now and then.
Bit more than you can chew eh

Through 1 year, a lot of things happened... But. I want moar :D
With this pace there will be too many to count... I can't even begin to imagine what's going to happen if an SMT has it's own SMT...
When will SMT's be released?
Hey there Acidyo. I'm taking some time out of my travel life to poke around the platform a bit. How have I not seen you before? You weren't at steemfest were you? As I'm very much a real life kind of guy, and then do my travel blog which has had some great success. I started from nothing, never bought a crypto currency in my life and have just been living out of backpack for the past 13 years or more now.
Heck I got my first smart phone last year. You can imagine I spend as little time on my computer as possible, so I'm not in the discord chats often. Fortunately for me a lot of whales and dolphins have noticed my unique high quality travel content focused on strategy and reality of each destination. I show how to travel on a budget and give an inside look into the lifestyle of a long term budget traveler. The support I've received from power up-voters and everyone who enjoys my content is heartfelt and appreciated.
I just wanted to introduce myself to you and share a little bit about my experience here as a consistent and successful steemit travel blogger. I see that you are very much into maintaining quality on the platform with the way you curate and support those who are worth voting for with all that SP you carry. I truly commend you on your contributions and team effort here on steemit, especially during this bear market.
Keep up the great work and I will too. Up-voted and finally following!

I am on 18! Wow, they really pile up over time! Not really active on half of them but often browse to read about projects and ideas for the ecosystem. Steem Monsters is a must for the competitor in me but I also have been having a great experience on some curation servers like Qurator and C-Squared. I have OCD but need to really try to get more involved as it seems like a great community I have not been able to engage with except onchain!

I am in about 20, active in 3 or 4. Pop into radio shows on a couple more.
Really, i'm not a fan of the asynchronous digital environment for project planning unless there is some type of synchronous planning that compliments the forum.
It's difficult for me to just hang out in a server and just talk shit.... to easily distracted :)
12 Steem related discord. I often leave places I don’t use/have a need for after a while. If they are granting some kind of auto vote I inform a staff member that I’m leaving and to please take me off their support list. Sometimes they do sometimes they don’t.
Everyone is always in to many places and not quite doing much in many of them. I maybe share my content in 1 to 4 of them in a given week. Everywhere else I’m just not active enough to feel I’ve contributed enough to that community.
I’m mostly active in archdruid, c-squared, curie, and contestkings. The first three for curation efforts as a curator and the last one for some fun for myself playing SM.
Here’s my list:
PAL,
OCD,
Beem,
SteemApps,
Actifit,
Homesteaders Co-op,
Utopian-io,
Crowdmind,
SteemDevs,
DLUX,
SteemAlliance,
Stratos,
SOS (State of Steem)
Now thinking about it, I’ll leave some of those that I’m never actually using... Actifit, SteemApps, Beem, Homesteaders co-op...
Wow there are a lot of discord servers.

My favorite chat is called Steem Fiction writers.
Myself and 11 other authors are writing a book which we're going to publish on Amazon on March 1st under the name Steem Fiction Writers.
We want to show the world that the Steem blockchain has some of the best fiction writers around.
The current plan is to produce a different book of short stories every two months using constantly changing genres. This time it's Supernatural.
My second favorite one is the Steem Monsters chat.
