A dead snake on the pavement... food or not?

Not that all options get picked, but due to the Play-A-Long Pocalypse Game being run by @novaatebatman, I will be providing results for options.

DAY 8 ROUND 2 RESULTS

OPTION 1 – Try to run away.

Hopefully the players who chose to run had a backup food supply.

Players who chose Option 1 have progressed to the next round as long as they had something else to eat.

OPTION 2 – Try to eat the snake raw.

For the players who chose to eat it raw, they were able to gag down the stinky dead snake. Though they did have a mild episode of food poisoning, they were still nourished.

Players who chose Option 2 have successfully made it to the next round.

OPTION 3 – Try to cook the snake using a Magnesium Firestarter and eat it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter)

Ah, the risk of fire and the scent of cooked meat... was successful. The players who chose to cook and eat the dead snake successfully ate.

Players who chose Option 3 have successfully made it to the next round.

OPTION 4 – Try to leave the snake there and use it as bait to see if something else comes to get it.

The players who chose to leave the snake there as bait began a waiting game. After a while of boring watching nothing happen, the sound of an engine racing around the corner filled their ears. Quickly the players who chose Option 4 ran away into the woods, missing their chance at a meal. If the players did not have something else to eat, then it is...

Players who chose Option 4 are now dead unless they had a backup food supply.

OPTION 5 – Try to take the snake to the stream and use it as bait to see if something else comes to get it.

Some players chose to move the dead snake to the edge of the stream to use it as bait. They too began a waiting game. After a while, though, something showed up.

It was a Snapping Turtle, which they were able to kill. Some dried the meat in sun before consuming it while others were able to cook it. Players who chose Option 5 successfully ate.

Players who chose Option 5 have now progressed to the next round.

DAY 9 ROUND 1 SCENARIO

The sound of the stream, along with the thirst of the players, lead them to the stream. This one is a hydration round, so the players will need to successfully hydrate this round if they are going to continue gameplay and avoid dying of thirst.

While the water is moving, it also looks gray and full of debris. Though some players successfully ate a turtle out of the water, drinking it as is may prove to be a different thing altogether.

While the players are considering how to proceed, more players show up. Since players who have Water Purification Tablets may be at an advantage, some interesting options exist. They also have a good opportunity because the supply of Water Purification Tablets is pretty much inexhaustible. If solo players want to team up, now is a good opportunity, just be sure to name your team and let us know who is on it. (It might be a good time to partner with someone who has better resources.)

Though other options exist, players can choose to trade an item or items with a player or team who has Water Purification Tablets, or maybe some players or teams with Water Purification Tablets may be generous enough to share for free, though that won't do much for eliminating the competition.

Basically, some trades can be made or some Water Purification Tablets could be given away. Also, some teams could be made if solo players would like to form a two person team. Here are the rest of the options. (Remember, players must successfully drink this round in order to continue.)

OPTIONS

• OPTION 1 – Try to run away without drinking.

• OPTION 2 – Try to drink the water as is.

• OPTION 3 – Try to boil the water for a while using a Magnesium Firestarter and then drink it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter)

• OPTION 4 – Try to heat the water until just before the boiling point for a half hour using a Magnesium Firestarter and then drink it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter)

• OPTION 5 – Try to use a Water Purification Tablet and then drink it. (For players who already have, or can manage to get, a Water Purification Tablet.)

PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY

All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.

If you are forming a 2 person team, let us know your team name and who is on the team.

If you are giving or receiving a Water Purification Tablet, please let us know to whom or from whom.

If you are trading an item or items for a Water Purification Tablet, or a Water Purification Tablet for an item or items, please let us know what and from whom.

IMPORTANT: The Backup Food Supplies are in one ration portions, which can feed one player and keep them alive for two days. Also, if for some reason you decide to change your choice prior to the 24 hour response time cutofff, please contact @novaatebatman to make sure you are registered under the correct option.

Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:

I have gas, a magnesium firestarter, a NOTE, a PLANT FIELD GUIDE and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. I must eat by the end of Day 8. I choose Option 3 this round.

As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of your are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.

PRIZE POOL

The current prize pool is 600 SBD. The total prize pool amount will grow each round until the game is over.
