Issuing ENGAGE Tokens + Comment Curators Wanted!
Five weeks of engagement as scored by the Engagement League to catch up on, and I need a couple of you guys to help distribute ENGAGE far and wide.

I'd like some feedback and ideas on how to distribute my token, ENGAGE.
Today I have sent some ENGAGE tokens to the accounts listed below. These accounts have appeared in the top 10 of the Engagement League at some point (and in many cases, repeatedly) over the past 5 weeks.
I decided on the following rather simple criteria to give me a number of tokens to issue:
1st - 3rd = 150 ENGAGE
4th - 7th = 100 ENGAGE
8th - 10th = 50 ENGAGE
And so the sends are as follows:

Big fish supporters (that have basically funded my Steem existence thus far and allow me to do shit like this) have also received some tokens: @abigail-dantes, @acidyo, @anomadsoul, @flipstar, @fulltimegeek, @imacryptorick, @kevinwong, @krnel, @meesterboom, @smasssh, @tarazkp, @v4vapid, and @yabapmatt.
Whilst I think that the Engagement League is a fair way to issue ENGAGE, there are also some drawbacks with only using this approach:
I estimate that using only this method to distribute tokens, with the numbers used above, that it will take approximately 18.2 years to issue the lot
In 5 weeks, 'only' 17 people (out of a possible 50) have earned tokens
Repeating myself here - I'm under no illusion that ENGAGE will be worth more at any point than a pat on the back, but to give them a fighting chance I think they need to be distributed more widely.
I need some distributors
If you are present, powering-up, like to curate (which for today means reading posts AND comments), maybe you can help?
In order for me to track and issue the tokens (which I hope can be automated in the future), I will need something like the below adding to a comment you leave under a reply to a comment on a post.
I don't believe a post itself to be the engagement, but spark the engagement, and so majority of the tokens should go to the commentator.
100 tokens issued per curation with something like a 50% Commentator / 30% Post author / 20% Curator split.
Feedback on this, please?

If not, what would you prefer to add as a footnote that can be tracked in order to issue the tokens?

I want the process to be fun and not feel like a job, for me or for the accounts issuing the tokens.
The tokens should hopefully go to people who give interesting, funny, intelligent replies to content. Ideally, the comment has sparked a thread of replies, but depending on the Post authors 'popularity', this may not always be the case - It will be up to the curators to decide.
I have a few names in mind for the initial 'team', and presence in the EL will likely be used as a background check.
Anyone can apply though, or (and maybe this would hold more weight) put a name forward for the role.

Im very sporadically active on the platform. As long as you dont mind that I wouldnt mind helping to spread some engage.
I have definitely seen some great comments the past few accounts and would work on trying not to repeat send engage to further help distribute.

I run a Battle-Steem game that can get 300 + comments in it. Its basically a clone of battle-ship with each ship being a steem related prize for the person that finds it. Would putting some ENGAGE tokens in the grid interest you as a way to spread some around ?
If so let me know as I plan on making a new Battle-Steem game sometime this week.
Could probably hold some aside for people like yourself to issue. It would be the Post stirring the engagement in that case I guess. 'Drop bomb on F5' not so much? :D

Congrats you found 25 ENGAGE Tokens is usually how I give away prizes in the game. Just figured I toss it out there since you were looking for some suggestions on how to spread the coin/token.
If you want me to hand some out to owners of random comments on my blog and other blogs that I read or come across then I would be willing to do that to help you spread the word.
Where can I find your game?
I have two versions a mini version with lesser prizes but are easier to find and the full version. Below is an example of the mini version that had some TROLL Coins /SBI Shars / 15 post resteem subscriptions hidden in the grid. I don't have an active one up yet but there will be a Battle-Steem game running by the end of the week.

Is there a quota, so to speak, you would expect the curators to find per week? Or just an occasional, "oh that's a really good comment, let's reward that" type thing?

I wouldn't expect the curators to meet a quota, and maybe it would be more like a limit they could issue in total, or to the same person.
I'd rather have more curators if they were going 'slow' but doing a good job.

So someone comments on a post, someone replies to that comment and thats the kind of one you would reward kind of thing?
Any comment, which the curator feels is a 'good' reply to a post, and/or encourages more engagement.

I am glad you are moving forward with ENGAGE. I will always do what I can. It is hard not being able to be relied on, humbling experance.
