'a thirty-minute video interview with comic book pioneer and icon Stan Lee about his then-recently-published "bioautography," "Excelsior!," recorded in the Santa Monica, California, offices of POW! Entertainment, on May 22, 2002. Some information in the interview may be outdated. The video was recorded by Ray Steding.' I had a lot of fun with the Linux Public Broadcasting Network and this was one of the highlights of my experiences while running LPBN. I recorded this with Marc Strassman at Stan Lee's MGM office. He had a comic book rack with all his comics and a life-size statue of Spider Man. This interview took place just before the release of the first Marvel Comics super hero movie Spider-Man 1. Lee discusses the issues of why it took so long for the super heroes to get into the movies.
