#SPUD4STEEM is undergoing another adjustment to our Guidelines/rules which is around the type of account that will be eligible for the prize pool.
From April 1 2022 we will no longer allow Community Accounts to be eligible for the prize pool, thus meaning only personal accounts are able to win prizes.
Community Accounts can still enter/participate/promote #SPUD4STEEM but will not be able to win a prize, our sponsors are keen to see personal accounts grow firstly.
So here are the amended Guidelines
#SPUD4STEEM guidelines
1, To be eligible for prizes Steemit users MUST NOT BE POWERING DOWN 7 days before the competition starts on the 1st day of the new month, remember this competition is about powering up and not powering down. Any prize winner who is found to be powering down while in possession of a delegated prize will have the delegation removed โ checks are done ๐

Do you have 500SP & a CSI of more than 5?
2, Steemit users must have more than 500 Steem power in their wallet before #spud4steem & no more than 20,000 Steem power. Delegated Steem power (in or out) does not count towards any % increase.
Users must have & maintain a CSI of 5 or more

3, Only personal accounts ( No Community Accounts) will be eligible for the prize pool, users must have a reputation of over 40 & under 75 to be eligible for prize pool

4, Participants must have at least 1 post before the 1st of the month talking about this contest & their intention of participating. A clear picture of their wallet showing account balances must be included before starting the contest. The tag #spud4steem must be used.

5, Power up must be done on the 1st day of each month in your countries TIME ZONE. One power up per account per #spud4steem day.

6, Your post on the 1st of the month must also show CLEAR screenshots of your wallet before & after power up, so that it is clear & easy to calculate the % increase of your powerup. Daily claimed rewards are not included.

7, Steemit users who meet the above criteria also have to be active on Steemit - that means we will no longer accept accounts clearly taking advantage of our Sponsors. In 2020 we had accounts come out of the blue only just meeting the threshold of 100sp and dominating the winners list with a power up. This is the reason the entry requirements of 500SP now exists to try to stop this.

8, Since this competition is about Powering up all winners of Delegated Steem Power must ensure they are doing two things while in possession of a 21 day Delegated prize.
Set all post's to 100% Power up - after all this competition is about building Steem Power, or if you must set posts to 50/50 then SBD's earned should only be exchanged for Steem using the Steemit internal market and then it should be Powered up.

Here's an Example:
User 1 has 500 Steem and power's up 75 more Steem power which will be a 15% increase
User 2 has 1000 Steem and powers up 75 Steem Power more, which is an increase of 7.5%
So in this scenario user 1 has a higher % and is more likely to win a prize compared to user 2
These awards and gifts are designed to promote the launch of the Steem Blockchain to provide a better understanding of how Steem power supports the Steem Ecosystem.

Excelentes cambios, muy buena la idea de querer dar premios a cuentas personales que son las que deben crecer, ya que una cuenta comunitaria crece mรกs rรกpido, el mes pasado no pude participar, no tenia nada que encender, el poco apoyo deja a uno con las manos atadas. Espero este mes de abril poder participar nuevamente asi sea con lo poco que tenga.

Personally I love this event, where many people gather to make power up on the same day. I really congratulate you for holding it every month without interruption.
Have you ever thought about changing the prizes?
I mean... I mean for this month there are 34,500 SP that for 5 days each month "stop producing", I mean 5 days waiting for the delegations to be returned.
Wouldn't it be better to create an account and delegate all that and put it to produce as a curator account to the original content, surely it can generate the amount of Steem necessary to replace the earnings for healing that each winner will have and even more. That is to say, reward with liquid steem the same amount that they were going to earn by giving votes.
I say 5 days per month, you can't see it, but in a year that's 60 days (2 months) that amount of STEEM POWER (34,500) are sleeping.
Just my thought, I love spud4steem especially when I can win, but maybe my idea will be better for you and more beneficial for the STEEM community.
It's just me with my ideas and opinions.

I understand that the 5 days each month that do not generate any rewards and that you want to illuminate it.
For us sponsors, we chose a 3-week delegate to be able to give the prize out again to new winners for the next competition.
I'm wondering how spud4steem can be a competition with your proposal because the idea is that users / winners should be able to get some power even to vote for other users as well
The competition is designed for users to understand why it is smart to build their own SP
You are welcome to make suggestions that make the competition even better because I could not quite see it with your proposal

I completely understand that the contest is uniquely designed to be like that, as that is how it genuinely and properly works. Although everything can always be improved.
I was just asking myself that question... ยฟ?
From my perspective it seems to me that 5 days a month = 60 days a year, is like a long time for this amount of SP to be sleeping. Maybe they don't see it because the amounts are sourced and split from various sponsors.
More than a proposal or suggestion, it is a question, or concern, thinking that maybe there could be a better way to take advantage of that amount of SP every day of the year, generate profits, and maintain competition.
Anyway, it's just an innocent opinion, and always counting that the SP comes from great sponsors that maintain this event.
Maybe, from this idea, more ideas will be obtained until we find the right one that will allow a satisfactory implementation, to take advantage of that time and those resources.

The implementation of this rule seems to me to be very good because it is relatively easier to perceive growth in community accounts than in personal accounts. I think it would be worth considering the organization of a similar event, but focused on community accounts, of course, it would be necessary to prepare some prizes to encourage such growth.

Technically.... yes. The point is to power up all the earnings of last 90 days, not all time. I'm now officially at the highest club from now on and I powered the necessary to reach at least the number 100 in all graphics showed in the tool developed by StarLord and I am still keeping some STEEMS (to cash out in case of any emergency). Besides, you can bring extra Steems from exchangers and those are not taken in count as rewards from the Blockchain platform. This is I'm understanding it's possible to do. Hope I helped out.
