Germany narrowly defeat Sweden to keep world cup hope up

The Germany team has risen there hope up of promoting the next round in the ongoing Fifa world cup in Russia after narrowly escaping a draw against the Sweden in Sochi stadium yesterday.
The Sweden got the lead in the first half after the real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos lost the ball in an attempt to pass to substitute Gundogan who was brought in to replace Rudy after his head mistakenly came in contact with Gunnarsson boot which lead into a nose bleed. The Sweden gain the ball and switch to a one touch attack with the Chelsea defender Rudriger given the scorer enough chance place the ball ahead of German keeper Neuer. This led to Sweden taking the first half lead.
Marco Reus gave Germany an equalizer after Sweden took the lead in the half of the match. The Swedish needed a point to maintain their spot in the group but the German were not at their best but they were persistent at goal. They did all could to get the victory last night.

Unfortunately for Germany, Boateng was sent off for taking his second yellow card in the match but the Germany team pushed harder instead of retreating which led to them scoring the second goal in the extra time of the game. German got there second goal from a free kick that was passed to Toni Kroos which placed nicely.

Germany will take on a Korea in the final group stage match, a victory for Germany means they are through to the next round. The question is “ Can their average performance take them through ?.
