My country got eliminated

We lost to Algeria last week Sunday. It was a painful exit for me as the super eagles of Nigeria did their possible best from a goal down, to level the game all square but got eliminated from the competition immediately the score line changed few seconds before the whistle of full time.

The Nigerian team was unfornate in their third half as the team conceded a free kick close to their goal box in favour of their opposition and the technique of Riyad Mahrez was more than enough to put the game to bed and book a spot for Algeria in the final.

The team could have wrestled the place for a spot in the final triumphantly if they had averted the danger of the last free kick of Algeria's talisman Riyad Mahrez because the game at my end was looking more favourable for the super eagles as the desert warriors looked tired but technically focused in the game.

I congratulate the desert warriors of Algeria for a job well done and making it to this year's Afcon2019 final.
