From this week,
French open tennis game preliminary matches are being held.

Most common people are not interested in preliminary matches,
but will be interested in main matches from next week for 2 weeks.

As I start new series [tennisBug],
here I ask readers' opinions.

The HawkEye line call system was first introduced to tennis,
and now soccer, volley ball etc are said to accept the technology.

What do you think about the reliability of this HawkEye technology ?

(youtube.com/watch?v=_FWK1Sp9J-s)
.
.
In the above video clip of tennis play,
if I judge just from the video play, I would judge the last ball as in.

The linesman judged it as in,
and one of the player challenged as out,
and the HawkEye first judged as in,
but later the HawEye's enlarged view judged as out.

I guess that the final verdict was out.

How much do you believe in this HawkEye technology ?

[Votinig Quiz]

.
.
If you comment how much percent you believe in this HawkEye technology and the reason,
I will select the most persuading comment and vote over $1
at my own judgement with protest not allowed condition.

U have dealed with interesting subject. :)

Thank you for your evaluation, @cowboybebop.

I believe Hawkeye is very accurate.

Would you kindly please give me your % number ? And hopefully the reason ?

Hello sir @steamsteem

HawkEye technology changed the system of judgement.
It also improved the rules of the game. We can easily get the wrong error.Help us to make the right decision.

Yes, I agree.

But my [Voting Quiz] is
How much percent do you believe in the current HawkEye System and why ?

If you answer the % and the reason, you can be a candidate for my [Voting Quiz].

I think sir,

We rely on the new technology of science in many ways. HawkEye System is also a technology.I can rely on 80% of this technology.
Sometimes the referee takes some wrong decisions. But also the technologies sometimes make our wrong decisions. And I believe it. However, in order to get the best results in sports, our technologies are very important.

Your answer is 80%, @sanjoy22.
Good.

But there is no supporting reasons which are required as the 2nd part of the answer to the Quiz.

[Voting Quiz] Prize Won ! Congratulations.

Since steem's 7 day payout period is coming,
and @sanjoy22's 80% trust on HawkEye system was the only answer with % number,
his answer got the Voting Prize of over $1.

Thank you, @sanjoy22 for your application,
and congratulations on winning the prize !

I thank you too.
I could close this matter, thanks to your winning the prize.

Frankly I'm not too interested in this sport. Maybe one of the ones that made me less interested also because this sports equipment is quite expensive for me personally.

And about this HawkEye I really do not understand.

@ojaatjeh, Thank you for your opinions.
Here in Seoul, Korea, I think tennis is one of the cheapest sports in practical sense.

The necessary personal equipments for tennis are shoes whose bottom is flat in order not to damage the court surface, and the racquet which is good to play even with the 2nd hand one. Yes tennis court can be expensive to build if it should be covered by person, but is usually provided by city at the cost of our tax to government and city.

My average cost for tennis can be about monthly $30 usd for club membership fee which cover the costs of the court usage and the new balls for 3 hours once and 4 times a week, and one lifetime cost of about $30 usd for the 2nd hand racquet, yearly $15 usd for exploded gut purchase and exchange service and $40 usd per 2 years for new tennis shoe purchase.

Yes, if you prefer, you can spend more to buy a brand-new racquet at the cost of $150 usd each time they advertise new technology every year, and you can pay a lot more for the tennis fashion or so, but they are your options.

However, tennis requires partners to play together with. It takes some time and efforts for new comers to be able to find some people to enjoy tennis together for mutual competitive pleasure, and this makes people away from this sports in most countries, I guess.

It is quite cheap, and I think it is one of the cheapest sports except just running in Korea.

I will later write about benefit and merit of tennis.

For HawkEye, if you watch tennis game at TV, you may see what it shows. And though I haven't seen other sports at TV for a long time, they say soccer and volleyball nowadays adopts this technology too.

Thank you for your explanation. For the Indonesian region in general and especially Aceh where I live now, this sport is rarely there who play it. In addition to the factors that I conveyed also other supporting factors. Such as lack of field for this sport.
This does not mean no one is playing. My brother was one of the maniacs against the sport of tennis. Wherever he goes, the equipment for playing tennis is always there in the trunk of his car.
My assumption was that the equipment was expensive because I saw when my brother bought it. Minimum price of one icon is not less than $ 40. And this includes expensive for my personal category.

Oh your brother was mania for tennis to the extent that he carried tennis equipment in his car wherever he went. It is rare case even for tennis amateur, but I know such a person too.

$30 monthly is not a small money to me either if it does not give me the corresponding or more benefit.

One thing that most amateur club tennis players agree is that they feel ultimate happiness when they are playing tennis. They forget every other real-world worries and agony when they are focusing in tennis. This is why I put $30 every month in tennis club membership.
